Holy shit I just noticed the most perfect set up for a triangle, I never thought of this before until seeing this video...Man, new doors keep opening every time I watch BJJ vids on here, lol I can't get enough, I think I'm oddly obsessed with Jiu Jitsu. No joke, haha, is anyone else on here sickly in love with BJJ or is it just me cuz I'm high right now. I'll watch the same video like 4 times in a row and flip out every time like 'whoa that was the coolest move'. Wow that's a long comment lol
its funny whenever a good post comes up,the armchair warriors and "experts"come up and post.lol...mr.sauer is a true master under rickson and has trained with the worlds best,if anyone doubts his credentials, you obviously havent spent 5 min.under the PRESSURE of a good jiu-jitsu master....everytime i visit these good posts,im surrounded seems like a by a bunch of 3rd graders!lol..get out your chairs and go train !
There is also another possibility I use. As it is typical, your opponent will post his other arm on the mat (or on your own body, if he knows better) to create leverage and pull his arm out. We saw this far in this video. I counter attack his escape by armbaring the posted arm. Simply wrap your leg around the arm and in front of his neck ( as a gogoplata would) and twine your other leg the same way but behind the neck. This traps the arm, places and fulcrum under the elbow needed for any armbar
Dunno about you guys, but I'd just go straight to an omaplata from that first one and not bother with the sweep. Cool move to triangle though. Will give that one a crack and see how it goes.
@lagook I don't understand your point. A BJJ BLACKBELT asked his PROFESSOR what he would do if an opponent got his arm out of an armbar. He then asked a single "what if" question, to further expand his knowledge, and to better himself. I'm sorry for you if you wouldn't take the time to ask a BJJ master, and legend a couple of questions on "how he would handle a certain situation".
@RickMerchantttt You stupid shit. A belt is nothing. That keep your GI in place. What happen on the mat have nothing to do with belts. I know purple belts that are disaster and a white belt can choke easily. I also know black belt that know the move but their game level is not as high as some purple or brown belt competing now. Belts are not important. It's a result of your training but are not perfectly accurate to your game. Seriously train jits because you like to do it... not for the belt!
@LikeTotallyRich He's not a legend and master because he's a blackbelt, you imbecile. He's a master and a legend because he's Pedro Sauer. Your comment has zero relevance to my actual post, which was a damn month ago. I never cited belts as being important, nor the only reason to train. Quit trying to be smart, and "read between the lines" when you can't even comprehend the plain text.
@RickMerchantttt dont you think he was just asking to help expand a point for the lower belts as they might not know what relevant questions to ask? Or do you and the the higher belts not think about helping the less experianced people out in your dojo?
Maybe he just likes to see what thought processes a better man has? Theres more than one to skin a cat.
Either way, it was a good question and a good video.
Hit 4 to see that smooth transition to the triangle. The sweeps are great, too!!

I am sooooo very glad to be training at a PSBJJA school. The professor is the best. As well as, the instructors in the affiliate schools.

He set up an omoplata, 2 sweeps, 2 traingle setups, and another triangle set up in only 2 armbar re-counters. Wow, impressive.
