THERE IS NO ONE THAT COMPARES TO HER SO STOP IT!!!! She worked the entertainment industry for 7yrs and left behind A legacy to last a lifetime. Never shady always humble and smiling thanking her fans every time she could..When she died so many female artist FOLLOWED her path of success. Aaliyah is responsible for opening the door for so much of what you see today in a lot of R&B women who are attempting Music, Movies ect because she was the first of THIS GENERATION to do it on a MAINSTREAM LEVEL
the volume is too low on thing, turn it up and the reload. Everyone knows Aaliyah is an icon and legendary herself...the other legends praising only confirms what we know.
@TheAaliyahFans ooooo also, as you're here, I wanted to quickly run past an idea for Aaliyah's 10th anniversary. I think we should request her label organises a series of concerts in her honour, but I'm thinking all over the world. She has huge following in Germany, france, UK, Poland, South Africa and Japan as well as the US. They could have timberalnd, mark ronson etc host concerts in her honour, playing her music, remixing it, new stuff. what you think??
@CarlaJou1 Liyah is definitely an icon, but not a legend. And she doesn't have that huge of a following in France (I know what I'm talking about I'm French). And don't say I'm a hater I love her but just speaking the truth...
@Fredweeezay I know I was jus correcting the person saying she has a huge following in France. And don't get me wrong I'm French and I love Liyah, but her stans need to stop lying and being delusional
@NIJEECAPRICORN20 I don't speak for all French people I already said that the fact she wasn't known in a country doesn't mean nobody knew her (sorry for my English). She just blew up after her death, but I wish she would have with her music too (I love Rock the Boat)
@NIJEECAPRICORN20 I was speaking overseas and I wish she wasn't dead as well I love her but I'm sick of these people (stans) saying she was this big thing worldwide. She was great but just stop lying just say the things just like they are : Aaliyah was one of the great and she would have gotten better with time. But she wasn't THAT known in countries such as France before her death that's all (and that's a fact)
@Fodemanga thats because she was big maybe not in france but before that plane crashed she was going to be everywhere ppl forget that about her talent was leading her into being a star but because that happen God granted the respect she deserves in her death.
@NIJEECAPRICORN20 And that's exactly what I'm saying but BEFORE her death she wasn't that internationally known; she was going to (I think you don't get that I'm actually a fan)
