Cary was so hot in this movie, who cares how old he was?i would have taken him,no matter how old he was,the very definition of Class, what a gorgeous man he was,i adore him, charming, classy, charismatic, exceptionally, great Actor,a real Gentleman and definitely handsome that voice makes me..grrr:) as he grew older he became more attractive,Sometimes I wish I was born much earlier, the golden era in Hollywood will never back,no one can be like Cary Grant, a class of his own
This movie is so fun and witty! I love Grant and Hepburn's chemistry! The age difference doesn't seem to matter to me because first of all it's Cary Grant, and also he kind of makes fun of the age difference in the movie and it works well. I'm 29 and even I don't think I could have resisted Cary Grant's looks and charm in this movie ;)
I must confess that I first yeah, Cary seems too older for Audrey but then...OHHH that couple is just perfect!!! I'm 22 and I love Cary in this movie...want him for me!!!. Despite de look of age, his attitud was perfectly young...and I don't think is just a crappy hitchock rip off. I love this movie, it's my favorite one =)
Cary Grant was uncomfortable playing a romantic lead with an actress young enough to be his daughter. He was appeased when jokes about the age difference were added to the script and it was made clear that it was Regina who was pursuing him, not vice-versa

It didn't make sense that she would fall in love with a man twice her age in those circumstances. They should have cast Warren Beatty and Natalie Wood.

Great movie, I love it so much!
Evertime I watch it I think it sounds like Audrey says "je t'adore" when it's "shut the door".

That was funny! Cary Grant taking a shower with a suit on!

Yeah, it was meant to hide his age of sixty and his excess weight.

Even though Grant was a homosexual, he looked like a paedophile in Charade.

Maybe it was to hide his CIRRHOSIS OF THE LIVER, since he almost died from his chronic alcoholism in 1948.
