that is cool. after seeing this i tryed that out with mine. i have the yellow and black one. and being able to quick draw is what makes that gun cool. ( and yes i am a teenager also) who says older kids can't have fun.

I lost my first Maverick to a snapped slide; the metal pin that links to the plunger/spring on plunger snapped and took all of the plastic hardpoints with it.

It's a little involved, but you have to reinforce the plastic ends surrounding the pins with some five minute epoxy, then sand it smooth so it doesn't catch.

By reinforcing, you mean a coating, or an addition of mass or volume? I've never worked with epoxy before, so... 9_9

Epoxy is two substances that, when mixed, harden into a gel, then into a steelike compound. What I did was surround a bit of the yellow bases with epoxy then scoop a little around the neck of the metal bar where it inserted into the slide.

That's not a mod, it's called holding down the trigger and loading it over and over.
