Thanks for the info, NEgoldhunter. My nephew is a GPAA member ... so, perhaps we may find a GPAA claim that we can work for a couple of days. I've been doing much reading ... and would like to be another Potato Creek Johnny ... :) :)
We're planning a trip to the Hills next spring. Where were you when you found your color? What creek? Near what known landmark? Northern Hills? Southern Hills? I'm doing some research, so am picking your brain. Thanks for what info you can provide.
Do you live near the Hills? I have employed myself to Gold prospecting. My sluice is on its way and I'll be there in a few weeks. The price of gold is worth the effort now. Maybe I'll see ya in the hills. 400miles away but be there shortly
@nebraskagoldhunter Im wanting to do some hobby type panning and prospecting. I live in the Southern California area so Im doing a little reading on the subject. Do you have any reading material you can suggest to me on Gold Panning?
@mobiltec, Go to the GPAA web site , they have some good videos, or your nearest prospecting store, they can help. Also Garrett has a book on panning. Good luck, you live in a great state for prosecting.
Great show. Beautiful scenery and gold to boot. I hope to make it to the Black Hills before I am too old to enjoy it. Looking forward to the next video.
