That Lava/Water pit was a Greenhouse Vechz set up. The moment you Hoe a spot the whole place blows up and that's what is left. The problem is he put too many Slime Spawners in and they set off a lot of the pressure plates.

Backstory: One episode ago, a pigman was outside, in the East Commons, cutting trees. Somewhere he couldn't see, a slime spawned, setting off a pressure plate, causing him and parts of the ruin to explode.

@vechs Great trap idea: what if, in the east commons, you had set up a trap underneath the bottom log of each tree, similar to the one you put under the chest in the ruined village and under the furnace in that little underground room. Removing the block makes the floating sand underneath it fall onto a pressure plate. You could have this activate a network of redstone triggering buried TNT across the entire island chain! Blow up every tree in the forest...

I think that Spider Jockey really tells you how rare they are. In over 1000 minutes of recorded gameplay (and probably just as much that Zisteau didn't include in the Kaizo Caverns), he saw two Spider Jockeys. Two. :I

Either way I'm surprised Zisteau hasn't set up a wheat farm yet. All he needs to do is use some bonemeal on the dirt and start cutting down the long grass.

You could put a whole bunch of spider spawners and wait I suppose. Now, What would be truly epic is if you could get the skeleton on a spider jockey to kill a creeper and get it's record. You guys keep talking about cobblestone generators, yet you seem to forget he has no buckets so he'd have to stand over a lake of lava to harvest it, possibly not something he wants to do. But there is some stone to be had: "Oh, stone stairs don't drop stone stairs, do they..." No, they drop regular cobblestone. Get some and make a furnace! =D

The lava/water place was a trap. Two traps actually. Some animal must have set it off before you came there. Actually, that's probably what the explosion in the previous episode was.
