I have an easier way! Download mediaget. Search "GTA San Andreas for Intel Mac Everyting working perfect." It come up with about three options if you click on games at the top! Enjoy

gta 3 set it all up for 3d sanbox platformers, vice city was just meh! since it came from gta 3 and nothing new was added except scenery, a few more weapons, but san andreas was just a wow.. it had everything. u can gym, gamble, fly planes, jetpacks, loads of weapons, huge map, strip clubs, spreaded all around san andreas, more characters etc. In my eyes this and gta 3 sort of made the platform for gta 4, lost and damned etc

Make sure you don't have Lion before you spend time doing this. I bought a new mac with Lion preinstalled and none of these windows ported games work. Icon bounces for a split second and disappears.
