@warsoulsteve Metal Gear Solid on the PSone is actualy a sequel to Metal Gear 2, not a remake of the Metal Gear for MSX at all.

Oh, and Twin Snakes is a remake of the Metal Gear Solid for PSone, and it's not for PS2.

@nintendofreak11 actually Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2 where some kind of remakes. They had a lot of the same motives. Check out the beginning of Metal Gear Solid it's one and the same and a lot other facts like rescuing Otacon (a professor) to find a way to destroy Metal Gear, fighting an disguised Ninja etc.

Both of the old games were light-years ahead of anything else. When MGS1 made the series famous that was just inevitability rearing it's head. If it weren't for their MSX2 exclusivity, the series would've been famous years before MGS1.

I can finish metal gear msx blindly. (by the way we got it in france (was rare though) The very first time I could hide in a box or wear a parachute!!! I loved the idea of being upgraded from one to four stars, increasing progressively strength and ammo capacity.

This is the very first Metal Gear. Later Solid Snake was also released for the MSX. These are really great games and show the true capacity of the MSX system. This was the first game in which the guards were quite intelligent. Thanks for posting this.
