  • now i understand the why of the magsafe 8D

  • i have a really important question!!! can u fix my nitendo ds.... the top screen is almost falling completly off

  • restore or repair? cuz even a caveman can restore it

  • the computer in this video was already broken - repairs cost money, even though we do them everyday, so I did this low-budget!

  • Where are you guys located? and if you guys fix my MBP would it break my warranty with Apple? Approx. how expensive?

  • there so cheap i dropped my cousins dell precision(2007) down the stairs what happened? the outter screen logo that says "Dell" popped out which i just pushed back in..

  • Yeah on the new one's not on old powerbook G4 God!

  • Not the old ones like these

  • i thought all apple/ mac computers had power cords that were held in by magnets?

  • They do now - and this is why.

  • oh damn thats nasty!

  • i was walking up the stairs with my dell notebook and i tripped up and it flew out of my hands... but it was okay :D

  • man, my computer must be better made, because like my macbook pro dropped 3 times and nothing happened to it

  • The MacBook Pro is a far superior design (after all, the Titanium PowerBook featured in this video came out way back in 2001). Your machine has a MagSafe power cord, that prevents the type of disaster shown here, and, if it does fall, your drive is parked in nanosconds, so the read/write arm on the drive has no chance of damaging the platter surface. All that said, I'd still recommend not dropping it! (c;

  • ik that, but i mean that it actually dropped, like i didnt trip over the wire, i dropped it out of my hands! =)

  • My dog has done this to my Eee pc and my Toshiba (all running Linux). The problem is that they flip out when the touch the cable and run as fast as they can (there German shepherds)

  • man that happened to my iphone. but. instead it slipped out of my hand and went into the toilet

  • I hope you had already flushed... :D

  • Nice... :) Done that before myself with a TiPowerBook.

  • Ooo - ouch!

  • Too bad your powerbook didn't have magsafe

  • The new ones have MagSafe power-cords, and this is exactly why. However, even the new machines get dropped, hit and sat on sometimes. When that happens, TechRestore can fix it!

  • yeah i elbowed mine and you guys fixed it! relatively quick too

  • Glad to hear it! That's what we aim for, good, quick repairs.

  • why are you talking to yourself ?

  • All artists talk to themselves, it's part of the madness from which creativity springs!

  • I thought they designed their laptops with magnetic power cords...

  • yeah they do today.. that one is old
