  • pleeeasee pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! could you upload the Jamiroquai-Runaway lesson pleaaaaase!! pleaaaseee!!!!!

  • just been learning this!

  • hey, it would be really cool if you did a lesson on Get On Top - RHCP, cause that is the hardest song to play correctly and you do a great cover

  • Oh, and one more thing, please note the key and mode in the tabs, if you know them, that would help a lot guys.

  • Great job, and kudos about the club guys!

I'd recommend one thingie about the bass lessons though, if you would please let me do so :)

When you play it slow, play it a bit slower than David did here, and more importantly, please take away the fingers you don't "use" right now (take them away from the fretboard and the current string), so we can clearly see the frets the "active" fingers are pressing on right now.

Thats in my opinion of course :)

    Cheers!

  • What strings do you use ?

  • "Okay I'm done ! Thanks a lot for watching and see you next time, bye !"

    J'adore t'es génial ;)

  • Are the tabs wrong on the very first part of the verse? It says open Ab, then frets 4 and 7 on Db. Your playing Open, then frets 4, and 7 all on Ab. Had me confused for a second.

  • @Nautical1994

    Fixed!

    Carl.

  • @GentlemensBassClub I just wanted to ask: How do you get that particular bass sound? I play a Fender Jazz Bass through an Acoustic 450.

  • Hey David, why don't you use the fleabass anymore?

  • Loving these lessons! I would find it extremely awesome if you did a Tool cover, because their bass is awesome. Thanks!

  • Please do a lesson on the intro of the lessons =)

Or at least, upload tabs... Would be sooooo awesome

  • can u make a video about your double thumb style? cya

  • hi david can you sub me back pls? ^^

  • you know, the tabs are kinda hard to read sometimes with the red letters in the background, but apart from that its fucking aesome and you helped allot with your lesson! =D

  • Super boulot David, même si on cherche pas à apprendre la chanson, ça fait toujours plaisir d'écouter les riffs bien propres! Tu devrais en profiter pour mettre ça sur Slappyto si jamais t'as le temps! ^^

  • can you do a bass lesson on teen town by jaco pastorious?

  • Solid lesson David, Thanks!

  • I was just listening to this song the other day. Well done again David.

  • Hi David, love the videos. I was wondering though, do you like Avenged Sevenfold? If you do I would love to see you doing some covers and some of the fills that Johnny does. Just suggesting them because the bass lines are so amazing (and I LOVE THEM!!!)

  • @SMUDGE2511

I can answer that one, Avenged Sevenfold is not his "cup of tea", so your best chance of getting any Avenged Sevenfold stuff is from me, but I've sorta stopped listening to them, I did make a lesson for Afterlife though! So feel free to check that one out!

    Carl.

  • @GentlemensBassClub Thanks for the reply Carl. I have seen your lesson and it was brilliant and I have watched your covers too. I have done a few of my own on my channel but it's tough getting all the little fills right. Keep the videos coming!!!

  • @GentlemensBassClub I love to play Gunslinger.

  • ur fast and slow is like the same lol

  • i wish i could get that tone

  • Nice sound.. Can you please write bass, middle and treble settings of your amp ??

  • Yet another great lesson David, keep up the good work. I imagine this channel will become pretty well known after a while, it's the best channel for this kinda thing I've seen.

  • david youre from switzerland right? so can you speak also german or only french? =]

  • @derWahreSirRichfield

you're right! I understand a bit german, a bit more italian but my main language is really french ^^
