I found this by accident, on PC. I though I was going to find some secret room or something. I even hoped a door would appear during the part in which we had to revive Elika, in order not to cut down the trees.

The very sad thing is, this game could've been great BUT it's just as repetitive as assassin's creed (did they not learn their lesson?) and some of the controls are screwed like if i double tap A by mistake, i don't want you running AND then jumping off at least give me a chance.

After the last combat tutorial, the princess tells you to follow her to the temple. You just follow her, but instead of going up the steps you continue past and drop down that cave. This can be accessed right at the beginning of the game.
