  • mmmm deep deep down! :) Nice to watch, I enjoyed cool music score and beautiful cars:) ! Thanks for the upload:)

  • Great movie! Thanks.

  • Thanks for posting Danger: Diabolik. The movie Is posted with the caption, "A formal rebuke to the dorks at MST3K..." I'm curious if anyone has considered that just maybe the dorks at MST3K chose to make fun of a "GOOD" movie (meaning a movie they view as being "GOOD") for the final episode of their show, after making fun of so many "BAD" movies. Or maybe not. I suppose only they and their confessors know for sure. Whatever the case, I just watched it my first time and enjoyed it. Thanks again.

  • MSTK has always sucked worse than any movie they ever tried (and failed) to make fun of.

  • YOU dorks need to grow a sense of humour.

  • Thanks for the upload, although I wish the Rome English dub were easier to find.

  • Michael, we're lost.

  • A good movie based on a wonderful Italian comicbook

  • Sorry, MST3K got it right: This is a terrible movie. But thanks for posting this anyway. The colors are amazing.

  • @clownpants "This is a terrible movie."

That's a really weird way of saying "fantastic".

  • Love this, saw it many years ago and thanks for posting. I never thought I'd see it again. Long live the sixties...Right on.

  • Great Post(s)_ Unbelievably clear and fresh (like HD). The MSTK dorks kill the joy and annoy. Amazing vintage sixties spy spoof with great cinematography, weird cool music (Morricone even!) and great Cult Icon Actors (JPL MM and TT). Perfect companion piece to Losey's 'Modesty Blaise' - another standout film in this genre. Kudos for Posting !!

  • i am watching this to find the greatest special effect ,when he drops out of the plane, saw it years ago.

  • What the MST3K dorks don't understand his that this film his meant to be entertaining. Nothing more. Bava is having fun with the material and he's inviting you to have fun with him. This flies right over the head of the MST3k crowd who think that there are only two types of films: Drama and Comedy. Anything else they don't understand, so they make fun of it.

  • @joesten63 I don't think that have anything against this movie.

  • @Redgrant80 I have to (respectfully) disagree with you on that point. There are tons of films which would have made appropriate fodder for their show. Their presentation shows a lack of understanding and a disrespect on the part of MST3K. That said, I think the vast majority of titles MSTK3 selected were deserving of their treatment.

  • I thought the MST3K guys could be hilarious at times, but I agree with you, this film is an absolute masterpiece. I feel the same about Barbarella, though...

  • Starring this muslim woman!

  • watch?v=OTQ3MNPxyfA&ob=av3e

  • thanks! was disappointed by the other post and haven't seen this one yet

  • Do you know ?.... Diabolik is born in Italy, in 1962 as a comic strip by Giussani sisters (Angela e Luciana). The comic strip, is so much better that the movie, and in Italy we still to read it and appreciate it. Bye bye!

  • would you just look at those eyes... <3

  • MST3K must be destroyed. Preferably by Diabolik himself.

  • I want to add that MST3K have such a single vision of cinema, in their eyes all films fall under the simple binary opposition of good/bad, trash/art & serious/trivial to name but a few; they don't seem to have a non-linear grasp that films can be both good & bad, trashy & arty, serious & trivial & of course either experimental or mainstream. Neither do they seem to get that a single film can contain all these elements simultaeneously. As for an example of one of these films, just watch D:D!!!

  • This was the first time I watched 'Danger:Diabolik' and I was completely in awe when the credits came up, this is cinema at its best; kitsch, experimental, trashy, ironic, glamorous and a dashing of fabulous subversion...and all wrapped up in the most exquisite psychedelic sixties cinematography..Why Barbarella (a film I love) should be so highly regarded while DD remains at the cult fringes is byond me.....all kudos to 'monster4josh' for sharing it with the world!

  • @jackamo23 Barbarella is highly regarded? That's the first time I've heard that. I totally agree with your comments, thanks for sharing them! I also think it's one of Bava's best films, and I never expected that on my first viewing =D

  • @jackamo23 .. couldnt agree more.. i remembered this my entire life

  • thanks so much for uploading!

JPL was so sexy in it.......

  • This movie is a trippy ass comic book. It's awesome.

  • MST3K were half-wits who didn`t understand

the cinema, and probably didn`t care to.

  • I always liked this one. MST3K also tried to do a job on "This Island Earth"

  • "Tried" to do a job on This Island Earth...and succeeded. You seem to be under the misapprehension that just because a movie is watchable that it can't be made fun of.

  • Well let's not compare this to This Island Earth. That movie was fucking retarded.
