not that hard to adjust on dry lanes, dry lanes don't get dryer. same shot the whole time. just because you're a "league bowler" doesn't mean you're better than everyone in there my friend. work on your game no matter what the conditions are. only way to get better.
You can't shoot up the middle on dry lanes and expect it to stay to the right of the head. You've got to move the ball right and let it come up from the outside.
I'd love to know how much my Bounty Hunter would hook on that shot. But I'd really like to dig in the closet and break out the old Rhino and shoot it. That ball loves the dry lanes.
@gmurphy10 I really didn't care what I was doing cause I did play inside the game before and I tried to throw a straight ball but it just hooked to the left gutter.
Hey that's cool. Just trying to help. Been coaching this sport for almost 25 years. And I'm not a big cranker. Too old for that slinging the ball crap.
@gmurphy10 ur right , I have an alley in my city which kinda same shit, absolutely dry and super dark , shoot it from the same position way right and hard, worked pretty well. U have to adjust to any conditions if u're a good bowler.
some of your shots you didn't get anywhere near the gutter.... play 6th arrow, throw the ball hard, have it go outside of 5, and then tell me it crossed over
I did that once at a place called north beach in Downers Grove Illinois, i heard there was bowling so i brought my Bounty Hunter. When i got there i found out that the pins were on strings and it gets oiled once every 2 weeks. I could here the ball spinning on the lanes XD
no those lanes have oil. i was at this retreat/resort place in the netherlands and had my ball with me, and the lanes were literally just wood and no oil. the ball return was above ground, and the pins were held onto by strings so when u hit pins it would pick them all up on the strings and set back down what u missed. no lie it was terrible. people would sprint down the lane cause their ball would get stuck on the ball return and i swear i thought the would fall everytime but it had zero oil
@MajestysCrusade We still don't have much info on Candlepin Challenge. All we know is they are still looking for a sponser to pay atleast six figures.
haha light high light high no happy medium

those dont look that dry to me..
fan4familyguy451100 2 years ago
This isn't bad.. Just play outside more and make it hook big..
The worse i've played is using my Widow clear spare ball, trying to play first arrow, and it hooks all the way to the left right after the arrows.

Hey Wolfman what oil pattern that this lane is using when you bowl there?
drago1209 2 years ago
@drago1209 Looks like the sandpaper pattern to me.

STUPIED, should have oil wheere ever you bowl...
hommyg40 2 years ago
In Israel its worse. The ball started hooking before the arrows. And it was a random power groove that they had on the rack.
Collegejew629 2 years ago
So, when are they going to put oil on the lane? :]
Yiib 2 years ago
Some of the club lanes where I come from aer so shitty my ball literally bounces (it doesn't on any other lanes).
