I am a C+ standard club and league player. And I have had the privelege to play on court with James Willstrop on several occasions, if anyone is dumb enough to think that they could compete, trust me you can't, i have tried and I have seen A level (professional) players try and get annihilated! for those of you who think its easy try playing anyone who plays at club level and you will soon see just how "easy" it is!
@leezygeezer, hehe, only those who didn't played squash before can think that squash is so easy. Sure, if we'll look at world top10 squash players it will look like easy, but it's not. I tell ya all - the court is huge, the ball don't bounce - it's damn hard! Especially playing with amateurs, wich want to make every shot a winner - it sucks :x
@Darkchris999 Golf is great as well. Try substituting it for synchronised swimming, in fact all 'artistic' sports in general, no place in the Olympics.
@mrbobevans Why? How's it a shame? Tennis is great in it's own regard. So you're basically saying that Tennis legends like Sampras, Agassi should have never played Tennis and stuck to squash. Both sports, Tennis and squash are great, and it takes great skill to play either, heck any sport.
I would like to see the haters of this sport pick up a racket and try and beat any of the enthusiasts posting here, let alone the pros. This game takes skill, just like basketball, baseball, etc. If anything, it takes more endurance and more training.
Agree with your comments. I am a tennis player. I stopped by the other and hit some shots by myself on a squash court. In less than 20 minutes I was tired. I never get tired in tennis.
What is the surface of this squash court? Does it play slower than a traditional wood surface?
your heart rate can reach up to 160 - 170 bpm after a hard rally in squash. Ohhh and by the way ... these squash players are ranked one and two in THE WORLD and dont need people like you saying you can play much better shots and are ranked this and that for your country. unless your name is johnathan power, amir shabanna, jahangir or jansher kahn (which i highly dout is it!) then keep your comments to yourself big boy :)
You people who are "dissing" squash are very very stupid, squash gets your heart rate up to 148 bpm, for you simpletons leaving very silly comments that means your heart goes ba-dum a lot. But I must say I don't know why you posted this video it wasn't the best shot in the world, I have done much better, I just lack in extreme fitness, by the way if you are about to say " What do you know about it smart arse" well i am ranked #2 In the county and lost 3-2 in the final so that's my opinion.
I think zengaway122 that as good as Shabana is Jansher when he was number 1 would have eaten him for breakfast. Any keen watcher of Squash could come to that conclusion after watching them both play

@leezygeezer Totaly agree, even a player outside of the top 50, will get crushed like a fly willstrop.
It's really not easy to see level differences, unless you are in the court with the player.
A small difference in accuracy, means great distances to travel. Imagine big differences !
