    I was out at Ocotillo Wells and sand got sucked up into my APS cold air intake that was in the fender well.

  • @drippinblood28 how can u say that man my stock t2 has minimal upgrades to the car esu meth injection intercooler \ bigger turbo stock trans stock throdlebody over 75 dyno runs i drive it to work every day and at the track most weekends 176,000 km and last dyno run was july 06 2010 still has same comperession as it did on my 3rd dyno run never had to rebuilt anything still same apex seals since my build up i run 87 pump gas

  • @akademiks604bc i can say that because i've never heard or seen any old mazda cars that have above 100k miles*. The thing with these engines is that they are sealed up so if anything goes wrong with em you've got to buy a brand new one for too much money. Also, on the mazda website it says all their achievements and one of them was getting it past 100,000 km endurance test...they barely made it. It's great that your car is awesome, but I'm not taking my chances with Mazda

  • @drippinblood28 im telling u ur wrong i have ownd every model rx7 my best friend only buys nissian and ive done more dyno pulls and run longer on my rotary engines than he has on his 1 jz 2 j1 and his b18 his cars we heavly moded my was mainly stock and as for the mazda web site fuck that anybody can post up bullish on any car my dyno vids prove that rotary are better

  • @drippinblood28 i run my 90 t2 rx7 on 87 pump gas a turbo upgrade with meth injection intercoooler micro tech esu diffrent fuel pump bov boost guage role cage seats and 3 mil apex seals rest of car is stock stock tranny stock mazda clutch stock rear end stock rotors/housings stock throdlebody mainly stock i drive 1hr each way to work 5 days a week and at the track all weekend ive done well over 75 dyno runs and i have boost set at 40 lbs never lower 809 whp and my compression is still 15-1

  • @drippinblood28 man go look on buy and sell auto trator or even ebay and c what kinda miles or kms the rx7s have there then call 5 number and ull c how many rx7 are well over 200 miles and have not done a rebuild and run great all of then im sure but do it then ull c ur wrong

  • @akademiks604bc alright man....if the rotary engines were so great don't you think that the whole auto industry would be using them? I'm just not really sold on the rotary engines in cars. They are loud, expensive to repair if anything goes wrong and not especially gas saving and don't deliver extraordinary power. I'm sure if you took some other car and did all the same mods that was comparable to your 90 t2 rx7 im sure it would come out to have the same horsepower.

  • @drippinblood28 only reason rotary engine didnt catch on is cause they are harderto start in the winter and can be hard to put thru aircare if ur a backyard mechanic many car companies made rotary cars every american car company had 1 version of a rotary and in eroupe and asia lots of cars still come with rotarys

  • @drippinblood28 the only reason that rotarys cost so much to rebuild is cause most car makers saw cars from datson and ferrari merc. and figured that was the way to go cause u could make more money off of cylinder engines do to more parts plus after the rx7 caught on mazda bought up all the right to the rotary so that if u didnt make cars inb japan then u couldnt make a rotary engine car

  • Well, my bros Honda Accord 1994 has 350+(odometer quit unfortunately) thousand miles, and still goes. No major repairs under our ownership for the past 10 years. Original engine, clutch, transmission, only a replaced radiator. When I was young, we had an 89 Accord, 170k miles, when we sold it, never one problem. I got a Scion tC, no problems ever for 6 years. Mother has a 2002 CR-V, no issues ever, father, an Infiniti G35, 03, never been in the shop. I like some domestics, but get real man.

  • Sounded like my first car after a few thousand miles. Rod knock. Subies have issues with 'bottom end' internals (quoted, as it's a boxer. Not really on the bottom). Before upping your boost, it's a good idea to buy stronger pistons, and sleeve. Connecting rods are never a bad idea.

    Keep dreaming. Subaru=most unreliable motor there is. Google Outback headgaskets or WRX blown engine. Consumer reports gives these engines a BLACK circle (worst rating).

    How many recalls are there on the brand new Outback? TONS. Subaru reliabilty is a MYTH. Junk JUNK Junk - as this video proves.

Oh and it did this awesome little trick where it all the sudden decided to get extremely high oil pressure and blow all the seals on the front of the engine, spilling oil all over the place! I owned the car for 3 years, I spent on average $2000 fixing it every year. It didn't even get good gas mileage. Subarus are extremely mediocre.
