  • CHANGE KENYA BELIEVE IN???

  • Geithner looks like a stage one animorph of a rat

  • How many empty platitudes? Action not words we measure the man by the means in this country.....stop pussyfooting around Mr. President! GeeeeZ!

  • @Thejbirdy Well it's up to Congress (Republicans) now. If Obama had his way we would've had radical change in many areas. However the No Party have shut down or diluted every good idea he's had.

  • I wonder if John really means what he says when introducing The President?!?! ROTFF

  • America needs a strong democrat to step up and challenge the incumbent President Obama.

    Hillary 2012!

  • @JTlovesDexter2 rofl!

  • look at biden the whole speech he is trying not to laugh

  • It pains me to hear him, because Republicans don't respect him, and has lost credibility due to not making the changes he promised. I would never vote Republican, they are mean and crazy, but as of now, my vote is between Obama or the green party.

  • @bluehoneycomb No matter how hard things get both parties have to work together. The Republicans have proven time and time again they do not want to do this. NOTHING is going to get resolved and if Obama does not get back in we will have another 4 years of the same crap we have now because everyone is so bitter and against working together to solve the problems that started before Obama took office.

  • @vidann1 yes, I agree, It's just so frustrating and Obama needs to stand ground. I've never seen so much disrespect for a president than now. It's sad to see how much intolerance exists in this country.

  • Shame on all the reps that just "couldnt find the time" or were too busy watching football to show up for the speech...

  • Obama didn't make these problems, Bush did. Obama is just trying his best to clean up the major fuck ups you dumb shit republicans made. But republicans don't want him to get any credit for fixing so they do everything they can to make him look bad so they can get the 2012 election. Fucking republicans are just tools working for the rich so they wont get taxed more and the big business so they wont get regulated.

  • @JCompany8 we know that already thats old news but right now i want a high paying job to pay off my student debts. I'm going to blame someone :)

  • @JCompany8 Small and uneducated words from someone who just spits out the same rhetoric from the gentlemen on MSNBC. Read a book and think for your self for once. Stop using so much profanity when trying to get your point across. You lose all credibility when you do that and it makes you look like a child.

  • Boehner is darker than Obama. This isn't a joke.. look at him.

  • @butchermachine HAHHA, i agree. My mother said the samething.

She said, "Is Boner African American or White?"

I said, "MOM! Boner is white redneck."

  • Subsidize solar energy rather tha the oil industry, scale back the illegitimate wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Problem solved. See how easy that was?

  • @butchermachine Dont forget the Libyan intervention... I know its minor compared to those two but we need to step out of foreign nations business just look at the people we've backed.

  • Olbermannn 2012.

  • haha Republicans are just gonna hate on Democrats and Democrats are just gonna hate on Republicans...

  • nice show,go hide for next problem coming

  • What is the point of this address. He's speaking to a BOUGHT CONGRESS. His words, am I right? They won't do anything because they're trying to keep their jobs. Americans should just boycott the companies that have these assholes by their nuts. Its totally useless trying to convince these ppl.

  • Can't YouTube show the President the respect he deserves by propperly streaming this video without the constant lagging?

  • Spend. Spend. Spend. Spend. Spend.

    He just doesn't get it.

  • @rotorite86 absolutly right!

  • @rotorite86 you obviously have no understanding of our current economic situation or the economy in general. During a recession, the government needs to step in and spend to compensate for lack of private/consumer spending.

  • @hbxcskier You obviously have no understanding of our current economic situation. When you have bailouts and stimulus programs all that does is inflate the dollar by having the federal reserve print more money. How about we let the free markets work and let them invest money where they want to instead of the federal government taking our tax revenue and investing it in things that benefit a few wealthy people.

  • @xxmuffins352xx The unregulated "free market" aka wall street pimps brought the world economy to its knees in 2008 by speculating on toxic mortgage securities. About inflation: it is at a lowly 3.6%. If you are concerned about a government that will work for average Americans and not the rich why are you supporting the Tea Party agenda? They have made it very clear that their ultimate goal is the destruction of the middle class by enacting regressive social and economic policies.

  • @hbxcskier Its funny because those so called wall street pimps you are referring to were also part of President Obama's top campaign donations that he received. And about inflation you must be crazy if you think it as 3.6% you must be getting that info from the Federal Reserve themselves. If you look at the value of the dollar in 1913 when the Federal Reserve was created $1 then is equal to about $23 now. So 3.6% is not an accurate value at all.

  • @hbxcskier Not to mention if you look at the price of gold it is around $1,855.15. This alone shows how much the currency has be inflated by the Federal Reserve which allows the government to spend at free will. Also, if you look at the rate of unemployment it has gone steadily up since Obama's bailouts and stimulus so how can you justify more spending when it hasn't helped the economy improve at all. The regulations that have been put in place hurt the middle class while helping the rich elite.

  • @xxmuffins352xx When the truth isn't on your side just make up stuff right? Here is a website the calculates current and past inflation rates: usinflationcalculator. Take note that inflation was just as high under Bush's presidency as Obama's. The recession would be a lot worse if it had not been for the stimulus provided by Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama. It would do you good to take a class in economics 101.

  • @rotorite86 Go get some basic education, then comment. You have zero clue when spending is needed and not.

  • i like it.

  • Yeah Barry,

Shovel ready construction projects. Have we heard this crap before?

  • I gotta be honest Fixed. As good a speech it may sound, its all empty. Results matter, not rhetoric. Well see if this breaks the chain of broken promises, but Im not even thinking about holding my breath.

  • @biggydx - It all depends on whether or not Republicans are willing to do anything. They have demonstrated time and time again, that their main goal is to Shut.Down.Everything.

Obama needs to get much tougher on them, if he is to have any success at passing this at all.

  • @FixedNewsChannel That last part is what ends up being the determining factor. I think its pretty evident that the Republicans are gonna say no to everything and make their demands steep so that we (liberals/progressives) get nothing but they get everything. And sadly, I feel once again that Obama will let them do it. If he wont fight for what he has now or better, then whats the point?

  • @FixedNewsChannel Exactly. The only thing, Pres. is really guilty of is not having much of a backbone w/ those damn Republicans. They control the majority of the House & Senate. They make pass al the d8mn laws and have shut down all of the plans the man proposed . Therefore, folks who did not like Pres. Obama to begin w/ (or simply always hated his guts), his speeches seem like "broken promises".

  • @FixedNewsChannel Well with Republican majority in house, it will be hard. Though if you look at this proposal, Obama wins either way. If Republicans pass it, he wins, if Republicans don't pass it, he wins because he gets to take it to the American people. I mean "SANE" American people.

  • @biggydx Why don't you ask Republicans if they will pass this or not. Empty promises are when the leader is not doing anything about fixing jobs crisis. It's not empty promises when other side is doing everything in it's power to make sure jobs are not created. This IS the Republican plan, it has EVERYTHING republicans want, (except helping, education, and infrastructure), so they should be for it, right? Wrong, they will not pass it.

  • @Stingerbillion I just hate disappointments.

  • @biggydx Well 2012 is coming, so disappointment will go away when Republicans are voted out. So exciting. I love election times.

  • @Stingerbillion Be honest here both parties are shit.

  • @Baddassattuide DUUUUUUDE, you said it. *rep up*
