my fiance is getting deployed either this year or next year. i agree with everyone saying it doesnt matter if your for the war or against it, you should still support our toops. The men and women in respectable military positions are brave and self-less. The armed forces, the police officers, and firefighters (and doctors I guess) seem to be the only ones in today's society who live by codes of moral conduct and values. i think we can all learn something from them.

my fiance is getting deployed either this year or next year. i agree with everyone saying it doesnt matter if your for the war or against it, you should still support our toops. The men and women in respectable military positions are brave and self-less. The armed forces, the police officers, and firefighters (and doctors I guess) seem to be the only ones in today's society who live by codes of moral conduct and values. i think we can all learn something from them.

In the civil war, rich people could pay money to a replacement soldier who was from the lower class (Irish). Today, all of society pays money collectively to people who have few options in life. It is the same and people feel guilty. Thus they make vague statements like "support the troops" from a sense of guilt.
