I bought and read "Too Fat to Fish." The heroin stuff made me crazy angry. He's as funny, quick, and smart as any comedian out today or ever. But, he's such a fuck-up; his talent doesn't make up for being such a loser. I wouldn't have anything to do with anyone like this on a personal level. I gave the book away.

An aggravating factor in my not liking Artie's book was reading Dee Dee Ramone's "Chelsea Horror Hotel" right before "Too Fat to Fish." Stay away from junkies.

These late-night talk shows always have someone pre-interviewing guests prior to their appearance so that the hosts know ahead of time what topics they wish to discuss. Howard Stern, on his show, has expressed how refuses to be pre-interviewed, which is probably why he's been banned from Jay Leno's show. If Jay had known ahead of time that Howard was going to bring out two lesbian porn stars to make out during his segment, his last interview probably never would have made it on-air.
