The TD42 is still in production and will be for some time. The African market loooovves them. Dont worry about parts too. They still make all the gearboxes aswell.

@mattiiee1666 Hi mate i bought a 4.2 Turbo Patrol ute brand new in August 2007.They are plated december 2006. Nissan bought a ship load of them into the australia, in Dec 2006.They had to get them into the country before emission laws came into effect.

What did you do to you engine to get 130KW at the rear wheels, not just the 17psi boost I guess

@peshfish1 if you want more than 120 rear wheel kw, you need to tweak the fuel and boost, bigger inter cooler better off front mount, and upgrade the fuel pump, and a good tune goes a long way. there is probably other ways but thats the way this truck was done.

nothing stops the nissans, especiallay the RB26/RB30 and EFI motors people think toyota hilux kick navara arse i say bullshit... I've seen hiluxs havin a crap break down like nothing happened i think the hilux has face expressions once our club went o do hill climbs and there was this massive climb and the guy in the toyota was about to go up before you know it the Front bumper came off, To me that refers to a Mouth Drop

i got a 05 ute made 240hp the other week on 35s with standard diff gears. was pretty impressed. garrett gt30 runnin 30 psi, fuel pump to suit also a front mount. it deffently makes them a new truck. will post vids when i work it out. good work :-)

basically its got an aftermarket turbo, bigger fuel pump the injectors have been done 3 inch exhaust mandrel bent, snorkel and a front mount intercooler. when dynoed the car was on 35 inch tyres it made 130 rwkw, and had 936 nm. it runs on between 16 -18 psi depending on the weather. like if its cold or not

im not to sure on the brand of the intercooler. but its a front mount cooler, advantages are more boost and the boost comes on alot quicker. . goes really good. 936nm of torque and 128 rear wheel kw, it was dynoed
