  • sunflower seed butter

  • does slicing the almonds make them healthier?

  • @jASTDK Nope. Chewing them up good might help you digest them better.

  • @psychetruth ;)

  • damn, you're hot!!!

  • Dried fruits - mainly raisins and dates

  • One food, or should I say SUPER food, that is rarely mentioned, is hemp foods; ie seeds, hemp nut, hemp oil, etc. I contains the highest protein content of any plant foods except soybean (mostly GMO) but hemp protein is more easily assimilated by the body. Hemp also contains Omegas 3, 6 & 9 plus many other healthy vitamins and minerals. Dont take my word for it, research it for yourself...PLEASE.

  • Frosting

  • my favorite snack is a slice of sprouted grain bread, toasted, with a smearing of natural peanutbutter (no added sugar) and fruit preserves with fruit juice, not refined sugar.

  • Fig Newtons lol

  • Salad, fruit, unsalted mixed nuts and raisins, Kashi crackers and natural peanut butter, plain Kashi waffles, or veggie burgers. I think I'll stop the veggie burgers because I noticed that the ingredient list is too long, even though some taste really good.

  • Everyone should be on a budget.

  • chips, ice cream, almonds, bacon, donuts, hot coco, water, breaded shrimp, toaster strudel etc.

  • I've never seen a can of low sodium plain beans - an average serving only contains about 200 MG of sodium, not really an issue compared to say - a TV dinner with 1000+ MG. Also, if you are living an active lifestyle in which you are sweating - you are going to get rid of salt in the body. Also, bananas. They are only about 70 or 80 cents a pound at most, last several days, and that potassium will help with that salt in the beans!

  • Little known fact, for manufacturers to get almonds from their shells in large numbers they need to be highly heated, to break the outer shells, so really they are procesed and depleted in enzymes by the time you get them, unless you crack them yourself, im interested in what you think of this natalie, maybe this would be an interesting thing to look at in a video.

    Thanks.

  • Thanks for this vid! I'm so sick of all the crap I eat in college- from the not so healthy food in the commons to the microwaveable alternatives for the room- easy mac, potatoes, etc. This video gave me some healthy alternatives for snacks I hadn't thought of.

For breakfast though, since I eat in the dorm, I like to get the All Bran Bran Buds and the fat free yogurts and eat that mixed together.

  • Oh my god, I know! It doesn't surprise me anymore why people gain so much weight when they come to college.

  • almonds, pumpkin seeds, dried fruit.

  • Ill give 2 lists, one for when Im broke and one for when Im not so broke. NOT so broke Organic trail mix cherry tomatoes vinegar chips quality beer BROKE AS A JOKE top ramen cheap beer cheapest beer cinnamon scented spinach coupons

  • when I'm doing well, I eat things like apples, almonds, grapes, celery, carrots, bell peppers, jicama. When I'm depressed or feeling bad, I eat cookies, shakes, honey, peanut butter, chocolate milk, cookies, candy, etc.

  • I try to snack on healthy foods, but I find it doesn't satisfy me at all. Like snacking on fruits feels like I didn't snack so I go and grab those cookies anyway.

  • bagel with cream cheese, bread, and pound cake

  • strawberrys, bannanas, and ice cream!

  • if there is sugar and butter...I mix them in a bowl and eat it like that...bad eh?

so it's so much more important to not have sugar in the house!

  • um, i have been taking baby carrots to work with me. at home i have a jar of mixed nuts that help me with my love of salt...I LOVE SALT. its bad, i know, but i am working on it. i also have a bowl of muskidyne (sp?) grapes i have been nibbling on. there.

  • Been working hard to snack on healthy items. Apples, almonds, baby carrots, homemade salsa

  • I don't snack much, but when I do it's usually fresh fruit. And after dinner if I want a snack I'll have either dates or figs or both. I allow myself 3 dates or 5 small or 3 large figs. I have to limit that or I'd eat the whole container. At work I keep Larabars in case of a snack attack. There are many temptations on our break room table and a Larabar can keep me from diving in and junking out. Thanks for your videos. I love them. Ginny

  • carrots, pumkin&sunflower&flax seed, pistacios-anything with nuts...

  • Nathalie! you're so pretty! but i bet you already knew that

  • garbage, all I eat is poop thank god I found your videos you probablly saved my life thank you for the info, by the way you are the most beautifulist girl in the world

  • random fruits, microwaved dinners, and donuts. ;_;

  • Almost all nuts, berries, and beans are good for you. I personally like dried fruit. but im guilty of eating your "junk food" too. Chocolate, pure 75% cacao or stronger is like a feel good drug. Natalie, you have great looking hair, whats your secret?

  • yeah but peanut butter most of it you buy in the supermarket, is full of all kinds of hydrogenated transfats and tons of other crap, as you said make sure stay away from that. Why not just make your own peanut butter, its probably cheaper anyways to throw some in the food processor. Love dried apricots, great great snack food. Fresh food especially fruit is the best snack food I find personally. The highest anti oxidant is blueberries, but you need quit a bit to get maximum antioxidants from it.

  • lol.. wtf happened at 5:18 ??? anyways..

I LOVE CRAPPY FOODS!!.. but i snack on peaches, pears, apples.. etc.

  • natural peanut butter (just peanuts) and crackers, cherries, apricots, plums, dark chocolate, strawberries, plain yogurt with honey...yummmm

  • I always love to snack on chips and dip.

Chips have just Corn, Canola Oil, Sea Salt, and Slaked Lime.

Dip is an assortment of my homemade Guacamole, Store bought Salsa, and Real Sour Cream...not that nonfat crap.

I will also mix up a batch of hot and spicy bean dip, canned beans and lots of spices and jalapeños.

    That is my snack food.

Some times I will shread some Balderson 2 year on my chips for a special treat.

  • what about pork and beans in a can; it has as much protein than tuna and its like 4 large cans for 1 dollar, a tiny little can of tuna is like 60 cents a can
