Mine too!!! I knows it's mostly just an illusion but it seems to grow out so quickly to the point where its always just a mess then it stays like that for ages.
I get these really curly bits around my ears and neck as well when it reaches these lengths.
It's good to stick with what's comfortable as well, what you know. Less of the madness that's associated with change.
In the past, I always ask to get it cut really short. Now I let the hairdresser decide for me (since they probably know what they're talking about). Although I've had this one haircut where it look good at the time, but when I got home, looked so horrible.

yeah sometimes when i get home and just take the time to ook at my hair and play with it to see what can be done i get really frustrated. then if im lucky its winter and i just wear a hat.
lol thanks. yeah you guys with your afro super hair that you can do anything too and it just stays in place. my housemate Derin has her hair straighted and i just want to steal it from her head. its so cool .

my hair takes forever to grow... not that it stops me from doing crazy stuff to it anyways. I have taken a picture to a barber before but he was all like, this would not suit you blah blah... so I cut it myself at home and it did suit me. Stupid barber... but my hair is mighty short and I can't do loads of fancy stuff with it. So I have to stick with punky do's :) Which I like btw.
Also, your hair is awesome and apparently grows(unlike mine)
My hair always grow quite quickly at times.
I always get the same cut as well mate.
