Thanks for commenting! From standard G tuning raise the 2nd string 1/2 step to C then capo up 2 frets. The 5th string has to come up to A also. Some call it mountain minor or sawmill tuning.
That's a wonderful sounding banjo (and I know Mac is a big part of the good sound). What type is it?
