This is very spiritual uplifting, especially when all I here is "music" that defames race and gender, and "music or song" that avocate and promote violence and disrespect. "OUT OF THE MOUTH OF BABES...." Libera reinforces my belief that there is hope for our future and of course, there is a God after all! "...AND THE MEEK (LIBERA) SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH..."

Thank you for these angelic voices I hope and pray that todays youth will use Libera as a positisve roll model and example!

With all the crap in the secular world, particularly in America 2009 that has all but gone down the immoral toilet, it is refreshing to see this group perform these songs. The whole here is greater than the sum of all the parts. If 1:08 to 1:26 does not put a smile on your face, you aren't human.

I believe Tom was never credited as singing the begining part because it sounds like him singing the beginning. And then Liam sings the amazing high parts in the middle.

Libera Boys are trainned to sing every song in different formations of back vocals and soloists. Originally Liam was performing "Sancte", which happens to be my favorite song. If you hear well, even though all boys may be prepared to sing Sancte's solo, it´s Liam´s voice singing, probably thsi was edited as a way to share the soloist position with other boys. That´s just my guess as I can really recognize Liam's voice among all others

I think that Liam can still sing the high part. I read some reviews of their Arundel Cathedral performance May 9, and Liam sang the high parts on "Stay With Me" and the main solo for "Libera" and kept his "Sancte" solo as well! So I guess he can still reach those high notes for now, although I agree his voice in the interviews has gotten so deep. Have you seen the interview at the Crystal Cathedral? His speaking voice has gotten even deeper than on the SoP special.

That song is based on Beethoven's Symphony No. 7, 2nd movement. The words were written by St. Thomas Aquinas. Check out the various instrumental versions on YouTube. To me the Libera version sounds like the Listz transcription for piano. I don't know if Robert Prizeman first put the words and music together. I wouldn't be surprised if he did.

Sacris Solemnis is the name on Libera's album Luminosa. As for the soloist on this program .... who knows? On the album there isn't any information, but the picture of the boys on the liner shows Joe Sanders-Wilde looking about 8 or 9 and I think Alasdair Gordon. So the album is clearly several years old. I've checked several Libera web sites and have learned no more information. But you might look too. Perhaps you will do better.

I don't think they sing the version with the soloist in concert! Or else, they didn't in Hartford when I saw them =P Ben Crawley sang the solo on Luminosa though!

I still wonder who it is! Its not technically a soloist, but if you listen, you can hear one clear voice singing that stands out from the rest (I assume it was ment to) but watching, I cannot see anyone singing it. Anythoughts?

Hey, I think it might be Sam Leggett! No, its definitely Tom and someone else... But no, it can't be! Hmmm.... maybe its Joe Snelling... You can't see him in the clip, so he could be singing it. I don't know the voice! Or maybe Tom sings one part and Liam sings the other, they just aren't in the camera view when they are singing....

Or could it be Ed Day? It doesn't sound like his 'usual' voice, but if you have higher def of this and observe his mouth from around the 03:11 mark, looks like he could be singing the high part. Or maybe he and joe are singing together. =)
