There is absolutely nothing illegal about this hit. It was as close to a form tackle attempt as you can get. I remember the official basically made up a rule when he explained the penalty. This was by far the worst call I saw all year.

And he did drive Campbell into the ground a little, not enough for a fine but maybe a penalty. 2. This was a clean hit. (and a bad call)

3. If the NFL does NOT fine James Harrison (and I dont think they will) they are admitting it was a bad call.

4. They have placed themselves in an awkward position: any personal foul calls that are not followed up be a fine should now be considered bad calls.

From what the league is saying the call was for "landing with his full body weight on the QB" He braced himself with his right hand and Campbell was actually on his left side with Harrison off to his right when they hit the ground.

First, this is not a body slam. This is a clean, text-book hit. I don't know what James Harrison (or any good defensive player) is supposed to do to avoid a penalty or fine anymore. As a Steeler fan I want to tell coach Tomlin that it's not enough to just say that you are not going to question the res calls. It's clear that the way the game is to be played is being changed and Tomlin must see that the way the Steelers play it changes too to avoid losing a big game to a penalty.
