Hey moss, they are probably alternating starts to keep the wear and tear down on the engines, keeps the overhaul costs down too. Also I've had a Simuflite instructor tell me it doesn't make any difference where the battery is, a starts a start.
They are derated to 550shp takeoff power they however have the ability to maintain that power to a higher altitude and have more power at cruise altitude.
Hey, why do all the King Air's have a t-tail and the 90 has a fuselage mounted stabilizer? Just wondering.

I saw that the other day when i finally got a chance to fly a King Air from Wendover NV, to U42 in Salt Lake. My first time flying the King Air.
