From A true Zombie fan- This is the best performance of their careers. Im so glad they could share it with the world, as I enjoy representing This band, as well as others. This is simply as good as it gets.
The bassists name is Sean Yseult...her real name is shauna reynolds. She was, and is, a pretty good bass player. But now she does mixed media art and live in New Orleans....
I like the way Tempesta plays this song better than Clufetos, Clufetos plays the exact same beat the entire time and doesnt open the highhats at all during anything. It's like listening to a machine where as Tempesta changes it up.
Yeah there is a lot of open strumming for rhythm, but it's in dropped tuning so it wouldn't be 'E'. It's C# G# C# F A D.. Anyway..taking something relatively simple and making it sound cool..what's wrong with that?
dude, j is one of my favorites ever, i know he used a rat distortion pedal, a MXR distortion, and a randall century 200. i just thought he always ran those pedals just into the cabs. maybe its the cab thats the century that they talk about on wikipedia. oh well, until WZ returns, noone will ever know. i just wish i did.
totally dude. JAY is one of my biggest influences. i know a guy in CA who has the guitars HE, personally owned. CRAZY, i wish he had a myspace. that would be good enough for me. i just wish he was still around. jay forever man.
YES, J is very underated. BIG TIME. hes one of my biggest influences. and on top of that, it bothers me that hes just producing records in L.A. or is it NEW ORLEANS? im not sure, ineed to check the wiki again.
Man white zombie was badass... too bad they all hated each other. even if robs live voice was iffy sometimes, he puts a ton of energy in and everyone in the band is rockin out. they shoulda snatched paul shaffer to play keys on their tour : )
playing with a slide isn't easy, or hard, just different. It's another skill you need to practice with to use well and really is only as good as your normal guitar playing as you still need to be able to know what the hell notes you are playing.
Yeah... I always liked those boots that covered the knees. So Letterman goes to shake her hand First instead of Rob. Not TOO obvious Dave. Yeah, I can hear it now... Hey Sean, why don't cha dump that CREEP and come with ME to my little pad upstate?
Sean Yseult = Shauna Reynolds or daughter of Michael Reynolds who was the biographer for Ernest Hemingway. Who says the choosen ones are not connected? I'd still do her though.
It's cool because these early performances really sorta' "cemented a relationship" between Rob Zombie and David Letterman, which have resulted in him performing there several more times. Odd....but true.
Hey! Does Anyone Have Video Of White Zombie performing "SUPER CHARGER HEAVEN" Live On David Letterman? In 1995. If You Do Please Post It. Thank You \m/ \m/
I love white and rob zombie, but why does every live version sound like he's out of breath or he has a cold?

I'll give you his solo stuff is kinda lame, but his movies are excellent sir. The imagery is so much like the imagery in his songs.

We'll have to agree to disagree:
I find his cinematic "technique" amateurish, unoriginal and uninspiring.
But thanks for commenting.
