  • Love it!~ I totally agree about steam in the oven!

  • to add steam, I preheat a 1/4 sheet with old quarry tiles and pour in a mix of water and ice- the tiles hold more heat, and the ice takes a little longer to disappear

  • We have been making the basic boule dough and having wonderful bread for the last 4 months. We are happily becoming bread snobs! It is so tasty, and it feels wonderful knowing I'm feeding my kids REAL food and not a lot of preservatives. I love hearing the crust sing!
