i think the moral of the story is slow it down and get to yourself and then the person.niether one of them really new were or what they wanted to do with them selves.they were so caught up in each other and the sexing they lost focus.and there morals were all wrong he was still married she was wasnt ready to bea baby mama with an un employed man.

Wow!! I just got done watching all of these clips. This movie was incredible! I think most women have been Zoe at one point or another; I know I have. In these situations, you can't see anything past the d*ck, or you only see what you choose to see. All the signs be there from the beginning, but still choose to brush em off and thinking we can "save" him. Big mistake. And see how much better they did after they broke up?? This movie is the truth. So many lessons.

This movie was great. It's Sanaa Lathan's best movie by far in my opinion, and it's a shame it was limited to just an HBO flick. This should've been in theatres, it was just too well done to not be.

After reading the book first, I envisioned the character played by Wesley Snipes to be younger. Although he is an incredible actor? I believe a younger man should have played his role...someone like Shemar Moore maybe?

See, franklin was always a good brotha, he just needed to get his shit together. Before he wasn't a man, he couldn't even help to provide for his baby. Now he has gotten EVERYTHING together, so has zora. That is the perfect time to get together. In the begining he and she said that they should not be messin with men and women, because they need to focus on what they want. They did that and now everything is cool. I really love that. In reality, wesley needs to get up out of prison.

this movie reminds me so much of me & my ex husband. we fell in love instantly, had such a strong connection that we were virturally impossible 2 separate. then tragedy struck 2 yrs later & it seemed that we couldn't run fast enough 2 escape it. the feelings of resentment & rejection, we had it all. & one day, it was over. like in the movie, once we ended, we got our lives 2gether. only we never tried to begin again. its been 7yrs & i have yet 2 encounter a love that was sweeter.
