I dont know, my life was pretty exciting up until about 34, then i just got bored with it all. Like there was nothing left to do, but settle down I guess. Not easy after 20 some years rtaveleing and doing whatever but then you get to an age where getting a job isn't easy anymore. Can;t just pivk up and leave without any plans. very depressing for me
My father used to make up stories like this when my sibs and I were little. He'd say stuff like, "The ice cream cone was invented by Joan Cone," or "The tortilla was invented by Leah Tortilla," and then he'd go on a spiel about how their respective inventions came to be. We believed him, too. :-P
@rani1223 Yes, but the problem with spell check is that it doesn't check for incorrect possessive pronoun usage XD. It's, "It's". Still though, that's not nearly as bad >.>
She has way more friends than that. She has her sister, Crystal, Bonnie and the multiple other women that she works with or knows from her past. I can't remember all of their names right now. I don't know what would give you the impression she only has two friends.
She hasn't met Bonnie or Nancy at this point (she meets them in seasons 3 and 4, respectively), and she won't reconnect with Anne Marie (they knew each other from high school) until the 3rd season. And she's lost touch with Vonda, Juanita, and Sylvia since quitting Wellmans. Plus, when you get older you tend to have fewer friends. Having 3 close friends you can trust and depend on is more important than 10 acquaintances you can hang out with. I just turned 30 and that's the case with me.
@Imfourty It pretty much sucks. You lose most of your friends, you work all the time, you worry about money and bills when you're not working. Enjoy what's left of your youth.
@rivermoonrise Amen to that. It seems like 25 is about the cutoff point where everything in life turns to crap. Life after that is nothing but politics, money woes and working yourself to death. Plus you get the wonderful benefit of physically aging on top of it all. Life sure is grand.
@kramnrublaw If you don't want your life to be crap then do something about it. You don't have to work yourself to death to be successful, you just have to keep pushing yourself. Politics don't matter! Just live your life and do what you want. If you're not happy with the way your life is then change it. & everyone goes through aging, it's not a life crisis. Life is what you make it, if you keep feeling so hostile towards it your obviously not going to live a very happy life.. That's sad.
agred. I'm 26 and I've pretty much lost all my old friends, lost touch with them. I mean we say hey and hi but dont hang out. getting older sucks in that way.
