In Florida( I think, correct me if I'm wrong) a Black/ African -American teenage boy,younger than this monster, killed a girl because he wanted to try out some wrestling moves he saw on tv. There was no discussion about his sanity. He was tried and convicted as an adult. Why the discussion here? Is it because she favors the daughters of those of you who have posted a comment? Just like with missing children. If he/she ain't White all of you lose sight!! LIFE WITHOUT PAROLE FOR THIS MURDERER!

I remember the case you are talking about.The victim was his baby cousin.They did have a hearing to determine if he should be tried as an adult.Alyssa's Lawyer is trying to lay the ground work for an insanity plea & she is smart enough to play along.You'll see what I'm saying is true.I really don't think race has anything to do with it. There are several other cases of ''white'' juvenile murders that have gotten life in other states as well.I will look them up and post the links if you like.

honestly... this girl wanted to know how it felt to kill someone. I believe the justice system should give her a new experience. How it feels to die.

Too many people get off due to insanity. There should be a better system to deal with these types of people. Everyone has a choice in life to do good and not pickup whatever bad habits their family gave them.

If this kid killed one of mine, I would make sure she got what was coming.. No one should suffer due to someone elses neglect!!

You are right, there is a deep connection between the combination of mental/physical abuse as a child, childhood head injuries and mental illness which drives people to kill. Check out the show "Most Evil" it's very enlightening.

I still believe that abortion is wrong, and a life for a life. Others may think differently and thats fine. I don't want to start a hate riot. Seeing my kids now, it would crush me if I never went thru letting them grow up.

I am 24 with 3 kids, 7yr,5yr, and 3yr. While quite young, and sorta new to the whole kids thing. 7 years ago, I never thought about kids, or how it would impact my life. But kids change the way you think when you see something like this.

Whether anyone believes in faith or justice, there will always be someone who will make her pay for her crime. May it be the man upstairs or a judge
