If you're talking about the ligthning bolt effect, it was done using the iMovie application on my MAC.

If you mean for the guitar sound, I'm actually using a virtual instrument called Guitar Rig. So I'm plugging my guitar in a audio interface( MOTU MK2) wich is connected to my MAC by firewire. And then within Guitar Rig, I'm using a combination of effects: Distortion, compressor, Digital Delay and a little reverb.
