I always used to stay at the Boardwalk. Best prices for the room size. Miss it alot, perfect location. Liked the Elvis and Prince impersonators. Great Staff. The nDeli was awesome great potatoe wedges and Hamburgers. Surf Buffet late night steak and eggs breakfast for mad cheap. Great memorys.
I miss the Boardwalk, too. It was a quirky, friendly little place right in the middle of it all. I used to like to get a room in the back "old motel" part because it was so close to the parking garage. Oh, and the Surf Buffet. LOL. soggy egg rolls, overcooked spaghetti and apple brown betty at 3:30 a.m. while being serenaded by that Beach Boys/Jan & Dean mix tape. Over and over and over. RIP Boardwalk.
This was my first hotel I stayed in when I went to vegas many years ago on a business trip. It had personality, a fake rollercoaster on the roof, along with the huge clown looking at you. Then one day I searched it on virtual earth.... Gone
