  • he is screaming !!!! WICKED little Bichir livelier than a frickin psycho oscar territory battle and happier than a shovelnose with an Arowana to eat !!! love it great vid !!

  • dude what is this song i need it!

oh and Bichirs are the coolest fish ever my senegal is almost 10 inches!

  • @griffininedmond Bleach soundtrack - Fiesta de guerra

  • what kind of sand substrate did you use?

  • @ThowHilton Playsand from homedepot. You can get like 50 pounds for $3, Just have to rinse it like crazy before you add it to the tank.

  • lol Ive got a sun cat and a new bichir. the sun cat is shy and doesnt come out much but he drove my rainbow shark out of his home the first day! so I named him Link, after link from the legend of zelda. for his extraordinary courage xD and the bichirs name is Morpheel (also from zelda xD) but I just call him Morphy :3 cute lil guy <3

  • @LittleShinobi92 yea, my suncatfish is 5-6 inches now but still very shy. My bichir on the other hand isn't shy at all, unless I scare the heck outta him.

  • @zaracki92 lol, yeah pretty much same here. I was looking at the Bichirs at petsmart and most of them ignored me but one had gotten into the neighboring tank and was looking right at me. So I was like Lol, I want that one xD

  • @LittleShinobi92 lol yea, bichirs are interesting creatures.

  • @zaracki92 indeed...

  • did you get your bichir in petgoods in nj

  • @adamisabella1 nope, got him from a local petsmart

  • The bichir will eat the guppys soon just saying my bichir eats gold fish bigger than thos

  • @moormandrm let me point out a few things....

    1. The video is over a year old

    2. Read back to a few past comments and you will see what my answer to your concern is.

    3. post a video of your bichir eating a goldfish (that is, if you have one)

  • @zaracki92 ok i will as soon as i can mine is a10 incher

  • @zaracki92 ok i made a video look at my chanel and find bichir vs gold fish and you will be amazedby him ps sry about the quality

  • @zaracki92 dude what moorman is trying to say is that if you keep the guppies with the bitchirs pretty soon it will it it and who cares if its a year old and no one reads the past comments and plus he wasnt even asking a question and he doesnt need to post a video of his bitchir eating a gold fish thats like saying sharks dont eat meat so

  • @cleerin1 let me give you my responses as well

    1. I said its a year old because i should have figured out by now that bichir eats guppies. (IF i didnt know that to begin with)

    2. i had already answered his question in a previous comment.

    3. you shouldnt worry about what i ask moormandrm.

  • i will buy the tubiflex worms

  • @Mrfish4life1 i ment when it gets a little bigger feed it feeder fish i am posting one of my bichir eating a gold fish or just him swimmin around

  • hmm...I used to cut beef franks into small pieces and feed him that. He grew pretty fast with that. After i moved him with the bigger cichlids, he started eating the pellets I fed them. I have three smaller ones now, they eat dry tubifex worm cubes. You might want to try that too.

  • @zaracki92 ive been trying to feed him freeze dried blood worms and frozen bloodworms but he is not that innterested

  • @Mrfish4life1 mine is not so fond of bloodworms either. its better to try dried tubifex worms or something meaty. chop up sausage, franks, turkey breast or whatever you have into pieces that would fit in his mouth. this might foul the water but if you have a good filter or do water changes often, it wont be a problem. try not to overfeed. Just make sure he gets atleast a couple pieces and feed every other day. Now, i dont really feed any of my bichirs. They eat what i feed the cichlids.

  • how big is it now?

  • @Mrfish4life1 8"+

  • @zaracki92 what did you feed him when he was little mine is about that size and i dont know what to feed him

  • @Mrfish4life1 what else do you have with him?

  • @zaracki92 i have two silver dollars, an angelfish, a red tailed shark in my 20 gallon tank. He is growing in it till i can move him to my 180

  • @Mrfish4life1 post some videos

  • @zaracki92 i will post a vid in the next few weeks i just need to get a camera!

  • @Mrfish4life1 dude buy minnows and feed him that and when he gets bigger feed gold fish and larg earth worms

  • @moormandrm no. he is 2.5" and his mouth can barely fit a blood worm in it. Small minnows are half his size. And i dont feed my fish feeders

  • yay bleach

  • guppies? bleh..

  • @UnstoppableJae what about it?

  • it just seems like an odd mix for the bichir

  • @UnstoppableJae well, not if you dont mind him snacking on the guppies :P i had him in there just to grow him out before adding him with the bigger cichlids.

  • @zaracki92 i see...cool

  • @c48gl i was just wondering....did u read any of the past comments?

  • Perfect music for this video

  • damn beaner music

  • @OmgLowBattery are you an idiot?

  • @zaracki92 naaaa

  • Haha Bleach!

  • They can get big :) 1ft plus i think

  • yup senegals get abt 1 ft but other bichirs get really huge, ornates get like 2+ft

  • when he gets big he will eat the guppies

  • yea i kno. i wouldnt have mind him eating them but i moved him to the 55 gallon already. i have new updates on it, watch one of my new videos. thank you :)

  • my dinosaur bichir ate my redtail shark

  • how big was it then??

  • my dinosaur bichir is about 9 inches

  • ok man! good luck then, ^_^. btw nice strain of guppies though..

  • well, i don't really like the females i have, they don't have any vibrant colors. but my male guppies are kinda cool though. check out my guppy tank if u already haven't done so yet :P and i believe they're getting more color variations by the day. i dont feel like selling them ever :P but i have to soon

  • you put your bichir on the wrong tank man! do you want your bichir to feast on your guppies?. the bichir are carnivorous fish. i had mine that eat my tiger barbs. i think you should put your bichir in other tank.

  • yea i kno the bichirs are carnivorous, i dont mind if he feasts on the guppies. i have like 100+ other guppies. this is like a grow out tank for him. besides, i might even sell the guppies before he gets any bigger. but i'm not wrried abt them :P
