The flake at .25 shows that the knapper who made this thing had some big ones. He removed a step fracture with this large flake removal from an edge that was finished and extremely thin. Very rare to be able to see this. Most knappers would not have taken this flake. Wonderful. I have a feeling though another ancient knapper finished the base on this thing.
