Have you ever put mediums, or 80/20 mediums on this guitar? How does it hold up against spruce topped modeled guitar in a flatpick setting?

Great job.
How do you like the D-15?
Also, any issues with the G-string breaking, as so many seem to?

Thanks for your comment!
The D-15 is the best acoustic guitar you can get in this price range. And yes! my G-string is also breaking permanantly, although i use the elixir strings (long life strings). but nevertheless, a great guitar!

Hmm I can't say I ever heard of breaking the G string. Is that due to using a 6 string guitar for a slide?
Sounds real good!
I grew up next door to a pearl harbor vet and dear friend who played the steel guitar. Unfortunately I didn't inherit it when he passed away.
Sounded like we lived in Hawaii. He was REAL good.
