But the way He does it is by showing that sanctification not sin is divinity:Jhn 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? Jhn 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? Comparing John 10:36 to Ps 82 being gods is sanctification not corruption.

@inheritthepromises if it was sin to be "ye are gods" in Ps 82 then it was sin for Jesus to forgive sins like God in John 10 abd then the Pharesees were right that He was a false messiah and was justly crucifed and never resurrected because He was like the corrupt judges in Ps 82 that made themselves gods. Your video here blashphemes the Deity of Jesus in John 10:34-36 because establishes His Deity on "ye are gods" in Ps 82 as being sanctification but you say it is about corruption!

Gen 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as (fleshly) gods, knowing good and evil.
Satan was promoting the flesh to the woman calling her to abandon her divine dominion for her flesh. Adam and the woman were created as gods but satan told them to abandon thier divinity for thier flesh.

Since we can all easily see the truthful interpretation here, why do so many not? I'm not the sharpest tack in the box, so I know it doesn't take great intelligence. I think we "see" that which we are looking for. If we're looking for self exhaltation, the idea that I am a god, is appealing. I'm not trying to condemn, or judge hearts, just want to make sense of why so many teach & believe heresy.

We better understand discernment that comes through salvation. The "comforter" was sent us to:1. Lead men into ALL Truth. 2. Convict men of sin. He also does not speak of Himself but always points to the Father.
There are so very many that simply are not saved, do not have that discenment, and yet multitudes wanting entertainment follow these false teachers with violent obssession.
We must know the Word, how the Father means the Word to be heard and applied.
