  • @NJStormSpotter nj if u dont fuck off i will take a fiat and ram it upo ur fat ass!!!!

  • what a great lookin lil car... sure beats Obama Motors Chevy Volt.... lol

  • OMG THATS MY CITY!!! I've skipped rocks in that water, McFadden's makes the best casmos, I've driven over that bridge, Those back road are a trip, Hey birds whats happening ( 2:01 ) *sigh Nashville

  • Looks like a nice car, but I struggle to see a familiar dodge feel or image. I think the crosshair grill is too small and too low. It's easily overlooked or missed. I can see similarities with a Ford Focus and the new upcoming Fusion. Better rethink your design image Dodge!

  • The first ever competitive and excellent small car from Chrysler since 1970. I like how they used the best from Alfa Romeo but made it look 100% Dodge.

  • I like it, all you rednecks need to get your heads out of your asses.

  • kia rio

  • Hope this has the handling of my 02 neon r/t, couldn't ask for a more fun car to drive (for the price). I'm excited to test drive one of these.

  • Where was the Dart? I just saw a Chevy Volt with Dodge emblems on it.

  • @JEDI7ACEN Put on your glasses or put in your contact lenses and try looking again. If that doesn't work, then there isn't much else that can help you.

  • @JEDI7ACEN If you can't tell the difference between the volt and the dart somethings wrong.

  • 43 mpg is the projected average

  • @ItsMeLonelyLol 43 mpg projected average hwy? or combined average?

  • Really doesn't do the name dart justice at all it's no classic, would have been better off naming it something else.

  • @toughluck0ne Actually, on the contrary, it takes that "old Dart stigma" of an old, bland, economic box of a family sedan and turned it into a sleek, modern, up to date, technologically advanced, fun and fuel efficient car with a heavily Italian influence. Finally, a car with the name to match it.

  • How much MPG will it have? 25?

  • For all those out there that think the new Dart is a car that one could walk faster, just for the record, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, the Dodge Dart is based on with the 1.4 liter 4-cylinder, will do 0-60 in 7.5 seconds and has a top speed of 135 mph. Not bad for a 1.4 liter engine car that you can drive in the $4.00+ per gallon economy. However, this car is not for those that wish to blow all of their paycheck on gas because they MUST have a big block to go get milk, pick up the kids, etc...

  • @NJStormSpotter it comes availible with 3 engines 2.0, 1.4 turbo, and 2.4

  • @ItsMeLonelyLol Yes, you are correct! It's nice that the other Tigershark engine uses FIAT's multiair technology as well. I just like the idea that unlike the thinking of old where you know the base engines of certain cars were horrible, the new Dart has an awesome 1.4 turbo that not only offers great mileage, but high performance as well.

  • the real dodge dart would eat this car

  • Hmmm, for all the gearheads out there...I wonder if there will be a version in the future that could have Alfa Romeo's 235hp 1.8 liter turbo from the Giulietta? That "vintage V-8 size horsepower" rating could give this compact car some real performance. In Europe, that propels the Giulietta to 150mph. Not bad for a 4 cylinder compact car.

  • The front is from Mars and the rear is from ?F*&***

  • @nathanbuon a bit from the Challenger...

  • I took over 100 Photo's at the Auto Show, none of them were of the Dart.

Didn't want to take up SD Card space with this fugly pos.

  • @Cylence01

Its a shame. There is not enough pictures out there of it. There's a demand for the pictures even for website content, so you could have even sold them. Oh and this is the best looking car in the compact segment. There is nothing with such quality either. Look how long the tail light is, that's quality materials used while other cars go cheap. The interior features and quality are the best. Turbo charged compact = hit.

  • This car is made to replace the all time popular Neon. They had to scrap the Neon name because it had a minor negative image to it. This vehicle also is picking up on a (fabricated demand). When the Neon SRT-4 was released, it was a total hit. The vehicle was sold out everywhere and they stop manufacturing them at an early stage, I remember the last one left in my state was at my dealership. What they did was build a tremendous hype that left consumers begging for more. And half time is over

  • This- looks like the Neon. That's really the worst thing I can say about it(double meaning intended). It's disappointing to me, at least, because I think its Alfa father is great looking. I want Dodge/Chrysler to become great, but I'd rather spend the time saving extra money for the Alfa US release on this one.

  • @Vizery85 I can understand your disappointment. When I heard rumors of a Chrysler or Dodge for the US based on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, I was very excited. I thought we were going to get a Chrylser/Dodge badged Alfa Romeo like what Lancia got rebadging Chyslers for Europe. I too, would rather have a pure 100% Alfa, but this is a great start of having an Alfa platform car with a FIAT drivetrain option. No too shabby after all...

  • looks like a civic

  • Man, that car is hideous.. If youre going to remake the Dart, you need to give it more of a retro look.

  • @DJFreuden I think your missing the point here. The old Dart was pretty bland and tasteless, so giving it a retro look would not be helping the issue. This was not the Challenger...

  • @DJFreuden This car is for the younger generation I suspect. They don't remember the old Dodge Dart because they weren't even born yet. When I asked my 20 year old neice about the Pinto, she thought that I was talking about a bean.

  • THIS IS BULLSHIT,HOW DO YALL MAKE A COME BACK WITH THIS!!!!!

  • WOW - WHAT A FUCKING HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT SHIT DODGE COME ON! FUUUCK - and then some kind of rage face

  • This car is awesome .. The top end engine is a multi-valve 2.4 liter with 185 horsepower ... Very solid; feels like a V6 on the highway. The big meaty tire package (for this size car) really helps, too, and is something you don't see on the Japanese subcompacts ... which usually drive on little donuts.

  • finally a new neon!!!

  • I love the design of this car. It's heavily based off an Alfa Romeo, much better than Government Motor's Cruze which is based off Chinese design.

  • @TurboFuss1 Cruze is built off of the Delta II platform which is an Opel design, according to Wikipedia, making both designs are eurotrash.

  • @28CarsLater Ever own an Opel? Ever drive one? I have and my cousin owns one and they are nice cars. Too bad the people bashing FIAT and Opel most likely don't know a thing about them or ever owned or driven one in this decade. I have...

  • @NJStormSpotter I saw quite a few of then in Ireland a few years back but I've never driven one. The design of of Opel must be sufficient though because most of of GM's North American car lineup are based it their designs (Cruze, Malibu, Lacrosse, Regal, CTS sedan, coupe, and wagon derivatives). Come to think of it the only GM car left not based on an Opel would be the W-body Impala and Camero. I can't speak to the Trucks/SUVs.

  • @28CarsLater Yes, you are correct. It helps for GM to own Opel and those are the convenient results. I remember a while back riding in a friends Opel Omega and it eventually became rebadged as the Cadillac Catera over here. Anyway, the Opels I've experienced were nice cars.

  • @28CarsLater Cruze looks like a 2001 model year. It's ugly and no one should buy it. Opel has been GM trash for years. Alfa Romeo is far more respectable.

  • The fuck is this????

  • @guglemanutz Nothing, Go back to sleep...

  • this car looks like a peice of shit what happend to the real muscles cars bring the real dodge dart

  • It's good to see that Chrysler finally pulled their heads out of their collective asses....with a little help from the Italians of course.

  • @lozoft9 I can't agree more. FIAT was the best thing for Chrysler. Now, as a former Jeep owner and enthusiast, I can only hope that FIAT turbo diesels will be powering Jeeps and the current powertrains get reconsidered as well...

  • If the word Dart is behind me, there had better be 8 cylinders and 600hp in front of me.

  • @comatone1982 Not in this day and age. Too many V-8s in the Dodge lineup...

  • The side profile screams NEON!!!!!

  • With some comments I've read with some calling FIATs junk or POS. I'd like to ask those with those comments if they own or have ever driven a FIAT car in the past few years or the past decade. Just trying to see where and how they get the information to call FIATs junk if they don't know a thing about them...

  • Didn't Al Bundy have a dodge dart?

  • I know the 60s and 70s Darts where never muscles cars and maybe not even Pony cars but they were close cousins too the pony cars. Dodge make the Dart like the Challenger, you brought the challenger and its amazing! Why can't you do the same for the Dart?

  • @JCKustom13 Come on. How many Hemi V-8s in a lineup does one need? The Charger, Challenger, 300, and Ram Trucks are already enough not to mention the big Jeep! It's 2012, not 1966. There are production cars today that run on electricity. Times have changed and gas prices will be in the $4.00 a gallon soon. I guarantee you there would be more people buying turbo diesel cars than Hemi cars if Dodge offered diesels now.

  • @NJStormSpotter You can never have to many Hemi V8s and also besides offering just the Hemi and the 5.7L Mopar should make a modern Fuel Injected version of the 440 RB. I know times have have changed but for the worse. Instead of using electric we should be doing what every racing industry from Drag Racing to Off Road has been doing since the 60s run cars on Ethanol. Its cheaper plus it allows higher compression for more power and torque.

  • @JCKustom13 Well, I think and the car manufacturers are agreeing that in fact there just may be too many V-8s for this day and age. However, one type of powerplant that automobile companies in this country has been ignoring are turbo diesels. You would think that after Audi won the 24 Hours of Le Mans with a diesel powered race car and that the USA is home to world known companies like Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, etc, that there would be more turbo diesel applications here.

  • @NJStormSpotter I think Ethanol is the future for V8s and the racing industry has been proving that since the 60s. Even Top Alcohol Funny Car some of the fastest cars run Ethanol not methanol, Mark Thomas has one 7 champsions using it. I don't know much about Le Mans, but I know its easy to convert a V8 to ethanol for drag racing.

  • @NJStormSpotter bro i belive the same as u but when u look at the big pic. where can u get diesel in your bigger cities. i think thats whats holds the diesel from taking off. we all know diesel get mpg then any gas

  • @richardhogle Right. Well, I don't know the cost or red tape of adding pumps with diesel, but it would sure as heck be easier than the hydrogen plan the former president had. If only the average American had access to see how far the modern diesel has come, there would be an incredible demand for turbo diesel cars today. I was very impressed with the diesel powered Alfa Romeos and FIATs my cousins had in Italy...they were smooth, quiet, powerful, and with naturally high torque.

  • @NJStormSpotter Electric cars still use up oil, in the country (electricity ... they have to be recharged) .... geez what a sheep.

All your comment does is highlight that Barack Obama doesn't give a crap how high gasoline prices are killing people's lives, right now, because he wants everybody to buy the Volt. (Pile of Shit car)

  • @Padarack1 I didn't say electric cars didn't use oil...they just use a heck of a lot less than "Big Block USA" would use.

FYI, I am politically neutral, so any comment I make has nothing to do with the president. However, hmmm, maybe if we had vehicles that were more fuel efficient or electric, America wouldn't have to "play friends" with terrorists to get oil? Also, there wouldn't be a need to be involved in wars simply for America's gas guzzling "interests."

  • come on dodge! we need more muscle cars and not so environmentally friendly city cars...-.-

  • @MrEmaxxfreak Well, how does this grab you: The 1.4, 4-cylinder turbo pumps out 160hp stock. That's not bad at all for a very small 4, is it? In other words, that's 1.8 hp per cubic inch. If that's not impressive, then do the math. example: 5.7L 350ci engine would have to pump out 630hp stock if it was pumping out 1.8 hp per ci. So it's not all about monster-sized engines anymore. That stuff has to stay in the 1960s...

  • @NJStormSpotter Yes maybe the performance from this city car isn't bad. But Dodge is famous for big V8 motors and american muscle cars and it should stay that way.

  • @MrEmaxxfreak If that would be the case, then no matter how much government help, no matter how many company mergers, Chrysler would be permanently closing it's doors because it's 2012, not 1966 and not all America is looking for 12mpg big block muscle cars.

  • @NJStormSpotter To be fair, Muscle these days gets about 20MPG combined city and highway which is not really that bad...

I have to admit Chrysler needs real updates on their whole lineup...

and bigger engines, cough cough, 392, cough cough ain't the solution... unlike that new 5.0 from the Ford Mustang.

  • @alchoholicsementhful I think a lot of people get in over there heads with the "combined" mpg average. Unless one spends tons of highway time, that needle drops fast...and so does the bank account. Even Chrysler's 6s average like 15 mpg city. Not good. Imagine the 8s?

I also agree that Chrysler needs a lineup revamping. The Dart is great start with a car that was missing in their lineup. High output, great gas mileage, 4s and 6s are the answer.

  • @NJStormSpotter Those Challengers really need weight reductions...

  • @alchoholicsementhful Agreed. There are improvements needed in the lineup. The Challengers and Chargers should get some weight reductions ASAP. I've read many reviews about the Challenger feeling like "a heavy car." Not to make a direct comparison, but the Camaro and Mustang V-6 models have great performance figures. Not only are they hot 6s with 300+ hp, but the cars are lighter in general. Can't go wrong there.

  • need an srt version

  • @srtman4u I think having a SRT version would kind of start defeating the purpose of this car if you're thinking of a 300hp car. Chrysler hasn't had a car in their lineup like this in ages. That's why people were buying cars like the Ford Fiesta and Focus, Chevy Sonic and Cruze, and so on. As prices are soaring and it's getting harder for the average person to own and operate a car nowadays. This is really about having the right sized car for America nowadays.

  • Chrysler wanted to improve it's models on a technological level, the fiat group wanted to be able to return to the united states. This resulted in the fiat freemont, the expansion of the lancia line up including re-badged chryslers, and ultinately, this dodge dart with an alfa romeo platform

  • @Iamwolf134 And what a great situation for both companies. Chrysler is in dire need of a high quality, compact car. This adds a car that is needed in this country within Chrysler's lineup of expensive, gas guzzlers to compete with the other cars and put Chrysler back in the game. Lancia is getting their share rebadged cars even though it's a bit sacrilegious.

  • WHY WHY DID YOU MERGE WITH DAIMLER, CHRYSLER?! WHYYYYY?!?!?!?!

  • @QRXenomorphs no comment

  • the rakish roofline reminds me of a volt/prius. its a good looking car as an ICE powered car, but I wonder if they'll ever have a hybrid or ev version.

  • Whats next...... a "HONDA BARRACUDA?"

  • It's not even a DART, this POS is a fiat. Darts were made in AMERICA where the company was owned by AMERICANS. The design was AMERICAN, the HEMI V8s were built by AMERICANS.

  • @SteezyPotato before you comment, learn about the car first.

  • really doesn't remind me at all of the dart, the last one i had was a 1974 dodge dart swinger.

  • Personally, I'd rather Dodge bring back the Spirit name instead of Dart, but that's no matter. I think this car is great and it could be the car to bring the Dodge name back to prominence in the auto industry. It's been a long time for Dodge.

  • @StarionX Although I can live with Dodge calling a new vehicle the Dart, I also think they should bring back the name Spirit. However, I think it should definitely be with another car that the average American could own.

  • People, for all those thinking that this is a re-skinned Neon, you are wrong. However, it is a car that has been missing since the Neon was discontinued. I don't know if I'm the only one in America or not, but frankly I don't care, need, or can afford to buy or run a "$40,000.00+ Hemi V-8 Dodge whatever." What's regular now? $3.50/gal? Understand?? The great news is that there will not only be a compact car in the Dodge lineup, but will be heavily influenced by compact car masters, FIAT.

  • Finally!! Finally we are getting a car that we were hoping a collaboration between FIAT (Alfa Romeo) and Chrysler!! Finally there will be a car in the Chrysler lineup that has been missing for so long!! Built on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta platform with some Alfa Romeo interior and some hot FIAT engines and FIAT components. I have been both a Chrysler Dodge and Jeep owner as well as FIAT and Alfa Romeo owner. I have driven the FIATs the past years in Italy and their products are very impressive.

  • Just a dodge neon with a new skin.

  • @Arkemn No, this is the car we wish the Neon was! Read up on it first before posting.

  • Looks better than a Corolla, Civic, or Versa/Sentra. Go out and buy one of those boring, "bland 4 door coupes" and don't complain about getting worse mileage, having a crappier interior, or a boring driving experience. This Dart looks just fantastic and you're ignorant for bashing it. Remember 10 years ago it was all about SUVs? America got SUVs. It's 2012, now people want fuel efficient, fun-to-drive compact cars. This is Dart.

  • Dart was an economy car in the 1960s & 70s. It is an economy car now. They built a few high performance versions then as they will now. Fiat is the only reason this company is still here. Daimler didn't ruin Chrysler, Fiat won't ruin Chrysler. They know too many people are stuck in the past. Even if it's a past they weren't here for or that didn't even exist.

  • This is what cars are because this is what people want. Not because Fiat chose to come here and ruin our cars. Not because the Illuminati are plotting to turn Dodge into the car for the new world order. If you don't like the cars, don't buy them. That's why new cars are what they are. Because people buy them. Get it? Supply and demand. Get it?

  • @Neppolopolis Well said...people should be thanking FIAT and be excited about the bright future Chrysler now has. For all those people out there complaining and stuff, they should get some education and common sense.

  • Idk if you dumb asses ever heard if it before but it's called a compact car. It's all about competing. Stop always expecting dodge to put nothing but muscle cars out.

  • Wow, looks just like the old one!

  • FIat can eat shit out of a bucket. I hate you for what you have done to American cars.

  • This is a Dodge dudddd......Looks like a Neon to me. R/T come on what the hell are you thinking. If I wanted a dart R/T it would need the 440 and...boy I am really getting unstable about this shit...that goddamn thing has a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine and it is front wheel drive. A must in bringing back a classic is REAR WHEEL DRIVE AND A V-8. I hope not one of these shitty ass cars sell, take that shit to the U.K. In America a Dodge Dart is and allways will be a MUSCLE CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • They did a skin job on the neon......yawn. They should name it the bland 4 door coupe.

  • Don't be fooled. It's a Neon. Same engines with some updates. I wish Dodge didn't use the Dart name for this dud.

  • @Crystallas Not even close to a Neon. Thats like saying the Aventador is the Murcialago.

  • The front looks nice, I dont know about the back, though. But its good to see Dodge bringing back the compact car. It also seems like Dodge is turning a lot of their classics into modern sedans. examples: Charger, Avenger, and now the Dart.

  • I like this car...I am not a Dodge fan, but I really like it... in white or silver color, perhaps charcoal grey would be awesome!! Love the inside and outside style!

  • any plans to bring the roadrunner back?

  • @tmgodsgirl Since its a Plymouth tag, no. They might bring back the Cuda as an SRT though to replace the Challenger (SRT is its own brand now), I'm hoping MT is wrong about them dropping the Challenger though.

  • Hmm. I was lookin for a small car. With an american passion. Like the preformance and lights. With small european style... hmm. Dodge has spoken to me.

  • looks to me like a challenger rear ended a focus then fiat barfed on the hood, that said, I'm already thinking of per-ordering :D

  • that headlight kinda looks like the one form bmw 3series

  • im incredibly disappointed in the change gm made to the 1963 buick riviera which was the best riviera year model

  • @billshemi i completely agree with you many of the previous muscle cars from the 60s and 70s turned into small ass v6 garbage cans (excluding camaro, challenger, and mustang) what happened to the malibu and cutlass? they turned into v6 garbage cans in the 80s and 90s very sad :(

  • to be honest i think this car is the reject of the avenger becuz its a fiat linea with stolen charger tailights the dodge dart should have become a 2dr muscle car like a mini challenger kinda like a sports car. Dodge doesnt have many 2 door cars now

  • I think I read somewhere that the name was chosen out of several by a generation that does not remember the original Dart. Personally I laughed when I found out Dodge was coming out with a new Dart since both my sister and grandparents had 1972 Darts. Both were emissions choked, gutless straight six cars with horrible suspensions and steering that barely felt connected to the wheels. They don't make them like they used to...thank god for that.

  • LOL as the former owner of a 69 dart with a 273 V*, I will gladly say the Dart was never a muscle car. The may have made a few Swingers and the like with beefed up engines, but they were few and far between. Darts were small famlily cars.

  • @crudeviolin I guess you never heard of the Demon?

  • This car is a piece of crap, as a long time Mopar fan, starting from my dads 68 Dart GTS, this is an ambarassment to the 60's muscle car, call the car something else, its just like the charger, 4 door muscle car, give me a break, the only truly nice looking mopar out there is the challenger, what are you going to start putting 4 cylinders in those too, what a joke.

  • @billshemi Being a Mopar fan then you should know that the Dart started in 1959. In 1960 it moved to a compact imitating Europes small cars. Only when Plymouth created the Barracuda did it kind of become a muscle car. Only expensive special editions like your GTS was able to compete with real muscle cars.

  • @tippmannperson I dont think i need a history lesson on when the dart was born, my point is that when the dart was a muscle car it was at its peak (1967-70) this was a true muscle car Chrysler should have named it something else, if your going to bring an iconic name back, it better be good, and this in my opinion clearly is not!!

  • just because its not 1969 doesnt mean they should bring this thing out, i dont want future generations thinkingmy generation was into this tiny ugly dart. Guess ill be shopping for a 1969 car because they dont make anything good now a days.

  • the car looks goofy at first... but then watch the whole video it grows on you :) plus lol id take this over the ford focus any day lmfao!

  • This Alfa Romeo is exactly what Dodge needs! Beautiful looking sedan should sell on looks alone.

  • This should of been the dodge neon.

  • The Dodge Dart wasn't a muscle car. To every 1 V8 dart, there were 5 Slant-sixes.

It was that generations Honda Civic, if you will. Just because you see the occasional turbo B-series Vtec doesn't mean most of the others aren't just shitboxes.

  • I respect Chrysler for giving NAMES to their cars. Not just the alphanumeric system that some automakers have applied in recent years.

  • Keep in mind too, Dodge would've went the way of Pontiac and Oldsmobile if it wasnt for Sergio Marchionne and Fiat. This car shows what these 2 phenominal companies can do when they put there heads together. The future is looking bright for these Companies, and to the hardcore classic fans-see the Charger, Challenger, and even possibly the Ram Trucks. I hear too that they are bringing back the Dakota soon, under a diffrent name.

  • What really amazes me is how fucking quiet the car is! Its amazing

I think that Dodge should keep the design, but rename it the second Gen. Neon to not piss off the Muscle Car owners. I think they should also rebuilt the Caliber into a Hatchback version of this car and bring back the Magnum nameplate-perhaps the Dodge Dart Magnum? Who knows....this car is a step in the right direction for Chrysler-Fiat

  • The dart was considered to be a compact car for its day, we call it a muscle car because of the era. I think this car is a good modern verision.

  • The dart name deserves better then a Neon body. You can get god mpg and still look good

  • SRT model to follow boys....

  • thats a pretty bad ass Neon

  • My boyfreind is going to cry when he ses this, he loves a Dart, go figure. im sorry but the Dart is not a car you "re-make" they wernt that great in the first place. Pluss it looks identical to the new VW Jetta. HAHAHA!

  • ITT: rednecks who think a fake muscle car that was cheesy 40 years ago is better than a modern European designed car.

    Stay dumb, Youtube.

  • from the front- its ugly, from the side not so bad but it would look better a little longer

  • I really do like what Dodge has been doing with the taillights on their cars.

  • it looks good exept they tried to stick the signature dodge grille in to small of a space. get rid of that and it would be way better.

  • just to clarify. i have no problem that this car was made. its a nice looking car and i understand its purpose. BUT, call it something else. dont get my hopes up and say youre bringing back the dart and then show me this thing. thats just not fair

  • @MrBingping Well, at least this time Dodge can match the name with the car and finally get it right. I guarentee that when people drive this car, they will not remember that old car.

  • @MrBingping

    I completely agree

  • @MrBingping I agree, granted in the early 70s this is what the Dart was, a compact econo car. But still the name's just got too much Pedigree to be on that little thing.

  • @MrBingping What's next?...2013 Chevrolet Monza?...2013 Ford Granada?

  • @TheTallMan35 Actually, Chevrolet Monza would sound pretty good if they made a car worthy of the Monza racetrack name.

  • @NJStormSpotter They can't do that, the Corvette would get jealous. I'm willing to bet a year salary this new Dart is some sort of European rebadge. I mean, isn't everything nowadays?

  • @TheTallMan35 Yeah, I guess you're right! : ) As for the re-badging, the Dart is based on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta platform and has some components and there are FIAT powertrain options, but it's far from being a re-badging. Compare the two and see...

  • @NJStormSpotter So this car is Ameropean. Interesting concept.

  • @TheTallMan35 Yes/Si'!! You are correct, sir! At least, if anything this isn't another Japanese/Korean rebadged car like many car companies have done so many times in the past.

  • True that I was expecting a muscle car

  • ISH SO CYUUUTE D'AWWWWWW

  • I'm a proud owner of a 2011 charger but I must say that this car is so cool . It's a mini me charger Lololo . It's definitely not for me but I definitely see a market for this little guy . I love the charger tail lights in the back . Very good job dodge . It's about time you started pushing fuel efficient cars . I just wish we would have started 20 years ago . 😃

  • Looks sweet it's not the classic, but I like it. Dodge has done it right, watch out Cruze and Focus.

  • The front looks Italian the back looks Polish.

  • I know exact;y where this was taken at. Nashville, TN at Shelby Park. Use to walk right through that same area. Nice!

  • not bad

  • For those who dislike this car, please realize that it is not 1969 anymore. The muscle car market is not as large as it used to be. People want small compact cars Dodge has delivered with this one. So, stop bashing because they called this the Dart. We know it's not a muscle car, Dodge knows it's not a muscle car, and you need to accept that this is not a muscle car - and that's just fine.

  • @actionguy87 please realize that if its not a dart, dont call it one. neither the dart nor the charger had 4 doors.

  • @MrBingping that is true, but remember that those cars didnt turn corners and had way to much power (wasnt a bad thing), so they burned so much gas. Dodge has a crisis that they HAD to make a fuel efficient car, so they made this, Dart. im sure they would have loved to bring back the cars as they were like 40 years ago, but theres no demand for them and they wouldnt sell as much because of gas. the prices and how much they would need to be filled. so they built 4 door family sedans with 25+ mpg

  • @MrBingping yes the srt division is terrible for power and fuel consumption, but since no car from chrysler did over 34 mpg the government said that they had to make something with atleast 38 mpg this does 46 mpg like actionguy said its not 1969 man, it was a fun era but we cant live in it forever, so we need to pick our shit up and make more good cars i hate chevys volt and sonic and whatever else theyr throw away cars, chrysler isnt making those anymore, these are luxury without the price tag

  • @MrBingping all im saying is, you have to like it or hate it, if you really wanted a car from 40 years ago that can be built today by dodge, get the challenger i do respect your opinion as everyone is entitled to one, but all im saying is ease up on them, theyr trying to be cool get good reviews and save some gas with 4-6 cars that are terrible

  • @MrBingping terrible on gas** sorry forgot to include that

  • @actionguy87 I'm not bashing it, I'm just saying for muscle car fanatics dodge let us down by naming this car dart.. they should've named it as a re-released neon or something not getting our hopes up by saying "The 2013 Dodge Dart" when we had no idea what it was going to be like

  • @actionguy87 Loyal dodge fans don't deserve to be deceived nor have to see their favorite cars shamefully resurrected, would it have be too much effort to call it a neon?

  • @actionguy87 No, people don't want small fuckin' cars. They want cheap gas. If the damm NWO would drop the price of gas, we all could enjoy driving what we really want. FACT.

  • @actionguy87 the dart was pretty much a regular car back then too. it wasn't really meant to be a muscle car.

  • @actionguy87 The original Dart was not much of a musclecar either

  • @actionguy87 Exactly. Its a cool name that has positive appeal, who cares what the old car was. Is the new Charger anything like the old Charger? Hell no! Does it sell and do what its designed to do, and look good doing it? I sure think so, and its sold really well, I don't know why people are fine with the new Charger but can't take that this isn't a V8 with RWD. The only compact in the US with RWD is the 1 series...and that starts at $35,000. No one buys RWD compacts anymore for a reason.

  • WTF happend to the fucking classic looks!!!! they made this look like a fucking honda hatch back!!!

  • finally a beautiful lines in an american car.

  • @doddsalfa It's actually based on the Fiat Linea and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta..so it's lines are mostly Italian!
