  • Whoo! I love this. And the titty shuffle? That line made my day! :D Let's hope I can do this xD

  • Thank you for posting this! I have been looking all over and not one video really showed me how to get the corset on properly. They laced it and everything but they just didn't explain it well. The corset shuffle and the titty shuffle really helped! Thanks so much!

  • i love when bigger women wear corsets, and most dont because they think their fat.

  • O yes, I know the titty shuffle very well, with a bra or corset! :)

  • Wow that corset is so pretty! :O Where did you get it and for how much(please not say expensive...)? :)

  • @alixxmcr94 This corset was a custom made item from Bernstein's Underwear Company in Germany. I currently have my own corset business now and can provide you with a corset that's very similar for $200 (plus shipping). I actually personally stopped wearing this one because it was of inferior quality to the one I now own.

  • What I would do is snap the buttons at the front, then shimmie it around my body and then lace it if there's lacing. May I ask who made it? I've never seen one with bra snaps on the back.

  • @liquidcatharsis where can i buy the same corset?

  • @liquidcatharsis I tried that before and it's extremely difficult D:

  • What if your corset has buckles on the back, instead of lace? like the buckles that are on bras?

  • A corset was originally used as an under garment. In modern times it is used both as an under garment as well as an over garment and exterior garment. It depends on the individual's style and shaping desires. I recently wore my leather corset under a business suit for a meeting just to feel it. No one but me, knew I was wearing it.

  • It looks really great!!! So a corset is worn on the outside of your clothes? I thought you wore it under...lol!!!

  • @CarnivalFreakSh0w are you talking about the lacing panel or the privy panel? The lacing panel is the grommet section. The privy panel is the panel beneath the laces. If it's the privy panel the best suggestion I have is to sew/tack it to the corset so it is forced to lay flat. This limits the sizing a little though. You could also have bones put into the lacing panel which will add stability as well as keep it flat.

  • I recently purchased a cincher that oddly enough is steel boneded leather etc... but it laces from the bottom? it is also a waspie.

  • @Lyviathon The lacing design you are talking about is a valid lacing design. It is used for women that have large bottom halves than top halves. If you want you can relace it to middle lacing without any problems.

  • I found it. Its called inverted bunny ears. (i think). Do you think it would be good to try or stick to the "regular" lacing?

  • @SenecaHouston Inverted Lacing is a fantastic means by which to stabilize a corset that might have warped boning or soft bones to reinforce the back. It's also a great way to show off. It's also great if you just want something different or you want to try new methods in corsetry. Ultimately though, I personally have not seen any good evidence why a well cared for, well laced corset of decent quality will not last 3+ years without preventative measures.

  • That sounds fantastic! I was wondering about a new way to lace up corsets too. I read somewhere that there is this place that laces the corset differently so the bottom part of the loop/bunny ear thing (i have no idea what thats called) controls the top part of the corset and the top loop/bunny ear thing controls the bottom. Its supposed to give more strength to the middle of the corset. Have you heard anything about that?

  • I would suggest treating your corset with more care. They are fabric you know. Try taking a bit more time when lacing yourself up or your corset will be ruined. I learned that with my first corset. Wonderful make by the way. Beautiful corset.

  • @SenecaHouston Hi Seneca! This corset has survived 3 years of being laced like this and is actually on it's way now to a new home where it has been gifted to a deserving stranger. I am so sorry to hear about your first corset. Was it double lined? Did it have a waist tape? Was the grommets reinforced or the lacing panels reinforced? I have only personally had trouble with corsets that were not made properly or were laced incorrectly (incorrect lacing or laces). Thank you for the comment!

  • @liquidcatharsis i'm not quite sure but i do think it was a piece of crap. I just ordered 3 more and hopefully they turn out better.Thank you <3

  • @SenecaHouston No problem at all SenecaHouston! If you need any help with them let me know. :) And if you want any more corsets let me know also! My website should be active in about 3 weeks and I'll be giving special discounts for YouTube friends also. :D

  • go stand by a window... bad lighting.

  • @Sourpusscandy I'm very sorry about the poor lighting. As it says in the comments, it was done quickly for a friend and I did not even expect in a year I'd get 5 hits let alone 12,700+! I have an additional set of videos coming soon that include a revamp of this one, corset care, a corset shopping guide as well as how to chose the right style for your body.

Again I am very sorry the lighting is so bad. I hope you could gather at least some useful information.

  • During the "titty shuffle" I was basically in AWE of your chest. I wish I had even half your chest. Sadly even with my corset I cant get that effect.

  • my corset is only one string and doesnt have the "rabit ears" in the middle

  • @LaaBarbiee That's simply poor lacing on the part of the individual who sent the corset to you. I will be making a "How To Relace Your Corset" video soon. Until then, remove the laces, wash them and dry them completely. Then, starting at the top with the loop on the inside of the corset, lace down towards the middle. You will want to count your grommets before hand. If you have 10 grommets, you will do 4 down, then create the loops by lacing top to bottom instead of across, and then 4 more. :)

  • @liquidcatharsis yes i know! Stupid lady who tied it, yeah that video would be very helpful (: thankks

  • @LaaBarbiee No problem! I've found that each corset house laces differently. Some use rabbit ears/loops, some do not. Some use one lace, some use two. I prefer one lace with loops. So I relace. I'm also picky about the types of laces I have, so I always keeps some on hand.

  • how long does this take you?

  • @songbirdsongstress25 The first time I self laced it took me about 10 minutes. Now I can put this and order corsets on in about a minute. Sometimes less. It all depends on the laces themselves. I replace almost all my laces with nylon/cotton flat lace blends. I prefer 1/4 inch widths as they allow the most slip without falling or sliding back out. Hope that helps!

  • where did you get your laces and how much are they?

  • Just wanted to let you know that I found this quite helpful. Thanks so much!

  • @catsduodenum You're very very welcome! I hope your corseting improves and you make many happy memories in your stays!

  • I love your corset, I am so interested as to how I can get one. Love it.

  • @ScRiBBLez718 If you contact me here on YouTube I can show you my catalog, I now sell corsets.

  • where did you get your corset from b/c i like them 4 everyday or almost everyday wear b/c they shape the body

  • @ksherman2014 I actually sell this exact model of corset, feel free to contact me if you would like one.

  • "the corset shuffle"

    HA!

    thats great!! :DD

im going to think of that when i lace up in the morning!

  • hahaha "titty shuffle" priceless :D I also am a curvy thicker girl, whom also have huge boobs (40D or DD) [and i'm only 16] and I also wear corsets, and omg it's so hard trying to not have your boobs fall out, and Trying to arrange them to wear they are decent and not exposed is so hard for me T.T

  • @JulietteHermanni Sorry this took so long to respond to, try wearing a tube top that's at the very least one size too small for you that has a shelf bra in it. It will give you a little more fabric to contain. And I have F cup breasts.

  • I've never heard of the corset shuffle! Good job hunny.

  • Flashlight, great idea.

  • omg thanks for posting this I just got a training corset..and have a hell of a time lacing it up....till now

  • i just need to see how to bow it at the end lol i tend to spind the strings then bow it at the back

  • I thought your video was very informative and seeing someone thicker like me was great! The lighting and sound could use some improvement though. There are some videos here that show u low and no budget lighting and sound stuff. If u specifically look up lighting and dubbing they shouldn't be hard to find. Of course I only have one little slideshow here so who am I to talk? Of all the vids I've seen so far tho, u give the best directions. :) Love it!

  • I could see and hear just fine. In areas I had to turn it down.. so no worries!

I was instinctually lacing this way; I wanted to make sure I was doing it correctly.

Thanks very much! WONDERFUL video and the flashlight was a good idea.

I was having that exact same idea.. "her boobs aren't right.. are we supposed to let 'em sit that way?!" Answer: nooo! You came out with the titty shuffle. =)

I have trouble understanding the shuffle, you never did it sideways.. but later today I'll be guessing!

  • where did you get this my dear? I do believe from you video i am about the same size and I have been looking for one.

  • This would have been a good video if I could SEE what you were doing. The flash light really didn't help. I'd love if you redid this and spoke a little clearer and definately had better lighting. Thanks for the video though. :)

  • its nice to see another curvy girl like myself owning a corset and looking good in it! great video! I think us bigger girls look a bit more dramatic in a corset because our waist to bust and hips ratio gets way smaller then a smaller chick.

  • I've also done several years of waist training in tight lacing corsets. I have an 18 inch compression at my peak. Currently I have a 12 inch compression after nearly 8 years of not going it!

  • "Titty shuffle"?

    LOL!

    Great tutorial!

Where could I look into buying a corset like yours?

I have one that I use when I got out, but it's one of those stretchy ones, w/the hook & eye closure . The one you have looks a lot nicer, plus you can control as to how tight you want it. =D

  • Hi there chabelita211! I purchased my corset at a store in Germany called Bernstein's Underwear Company. It is hand made with metal plate busk and double boned back lacing. You can purchase a similar one at many eTailers. Simply do some research to learn how to spot a quality corset, discuss with the corsettier and don't be afraid to -demand- quality. A good corsettier on the internet will also give you emails to contact their customers for reviews. Reviews are key!
