@feiz01 the hireboaters who had hired it moored it securely upstream with some other boats and left, notifying the boatyard. a boatyard decided to ignore the warning and try and get the boat from its secure mooring back to the yard, needless to say he failed, and this was the result. the boats who remained at the mooring were fine.

the boat was sunkin the summer floods of 2006 on the river thames. now fully refitted and operating again at college cruisers in oxford.
