  • With firends like OBAMA who needs enemies?

  • Obama is the one who is air-raiding villages with drones and killing without Congressional approval in three countries, Afghanistan, Libya, and Yemen. At least Bush got Congressional approval, which majority of both the House and the Senate were Democrats who voted for both Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

  • but they still kill civilians

  • nice, a 13 second clip on youtube to continue dumbing down the people. No matter what cause you are for, a logical person knows better than this.

  • Typical sleazy Iranian. Publish the entire video or go home. This 13 second snippet is only part of what he said. I know you've been taught from birth that telling a lie is better then the truth but it's not really that way.

  • ok seriously im sick of seeing this bullshit on youtube im sick of seeing it anywhere you probaganda fucks need to stop taking shit out of context and show the full fucking truth instead of making up make belief truth the only thing this video shows is that you wont show the full video to show the truth behind it so you can make your fucking pretend to be the truth facts instead of putting this bullshit on youtube do something productive and shove it up your ass and shut the fuck up

  • I never blamed the troops for the lousy orders they had to follow. I never said NATO deliberately attacked civilians. Neither did President Obama. But when President Bush was President, many air strikes by NATO did end up killing many Afghan civilians. Don't hate on the troops, hate on their commanders including the previous occupant of the White House!

  • Yay for out of context!

  • This just in - innocent civilians massacred in brand new war Barrack Obama just started: tinyurl(DOT)com(SLASH)3kfvxz5

  • youtube censorship

  • Well in fact we are bombing villages and killing some civilians, but these so called patriots like Hannity are too dishonest and weak to admit that fact, when Bush was around

  • Son of the bitch.

  • A 13 secound clip? Yeah, I'm sure that was well within contects.

Why not play the 13 secound befor and after? See and hear what he actuwal said.

  • What Obama meant by this statement is that if you don't have enough troops on the battlefield then they will he outgunned and will have their backs against the wall. They will need to call down heavy ordnance in order to level the playing field, and when you use heavy ordnance you risk innocents being killed.

    More troops=Less civilian casualties.

  • @Gramra some troops or many troops on ground, u.s. does not indiscriminately 'air raid villages' where innocent civilians reside. I'm a 10yr USAF vet. Obama's rhetoric was ignorant, damaging and very revealing.

  • @TruthDroveCove No, but they are likely to air raid villages that insurgents are firing from in order to protect ground troops.

If what you say is true, and if the Taliban don't use villages as shields, why are there even airstrikes that cause mass civilian deaths?

  • @Gramra 'mass civilian deaths' - says a lot about what you know/don't know about u.s. military methods. unlike insurgents who'll bomb mosques and markets, u.s. pinpoints its targets with advanced weapons, minimizing potential collateral damage, and does not just destroy villages 'cause some insurgents are held up there.

  • @TruthDroveCove We are both sympathetic to the U.S/N.A.T.O troops in Afghanistan. But the fact of the matter is, there have been some incidents in which U.S bombing has caused dozens or a hundred civilian deaths, for whatever reason. Simple as that! There's no way to beat around the bush. Some examples would include the Granai airstrike, Kunduz airstrike, Deh Bala wedding party bombing, et cetera.

  • @Gramra examples u give r of bad intel, or human error, an exception to norm. Misleading to cite those tragedies as the norm. the insurgents, afghanis themselves, perpetrate at least 4/5 of afghani civilian casualties. Civilians could all always go to american/nato protected safezones to avoid being potential collateral damage. Have afghan civilians chosen to harbor and aid insurgents? Yes. Innacurate and sickening to portray u.s troops as indiscriminate civilian bombers. "Simple as that!"

  • @TruthDroveCove human error? i though your bombs were suppose to be smart and remove that error but the truth its yanks don't care of civilian human lives and would probably kill more of the world was not looking.

  • @GonnerTrue Human error in 'intel.' Read! NO bomb or missile, however 'smart,' can ever guarantee zero collateral damage. 'Civilians' have choice to keep them and their children away from insurgents. And I'll infer in your 'yank' usage, that you're fm a country whose very existence is thanks to the U.S. rescuing in 20th century. Sad how same nations regularly hate on U.S. now. But..jealousy IS as old as Cane and Able. Can't argue the substance, just resort to hate- that's just low-life.

  • @TruthDroveCove

President Obama was absolutely correct in criticizing the Bush-Cheney military policy in Afghanistan. He clearly saw the danger of continuing the Bush administration's military policy of strafing innocent Afghans at their wedding parties and rightly criticized that misguided policy. Strafing Afghans at wedding parties will NOT bring peace to Afghanistan. Sure wish President Bush and VIce-President Cheney understood that!

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 Typical= use totally out-of-the-norm example of bombing in which wedding attendees perished, which was tragedy due to lower-level human error in intel, to baselessly, hatefully suggest that 'strafing innocent Afghans at... wedding parties' was 'Bush administration's military policy.' Are you really simply that blind to your own baseless and hateful smearing?? Or is it that, like for too many others, it's just so much easier to RESORT to hate and namecalling w/o the facts??

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 Always tragic and unwanted, civilian casualties, fair or unfair, seem part of warfare. But might you, due to double-standard, just omit citing dramatic increase in Afghan civilian casualties under Obama? (that would be just plain hypocritical!). Seems so. You've already revealed your bias by hating on Bush and Cheney, but not holding Obama accountable at the same time. Reasonable, fair-minded honest attempts at progress only get hampered by that sort of subjectivity.

  • @TruthDroveCove

I agree with you that NATO never intentionally and deliberately attacked civilian targets in Afghanistan. But when Senator Obama made this statement in 2007, he had the facts on his side. The always reliable Associated Press reported that NATO was killing civilians in Afghanistan at a faster rate than the insurgents were in 2007. Now the tables have turned. The insurgents have killed more civilians in Afghanistan than NATO has since Obama took office.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 'Always reliable Associated Press'? Wow. You meant to write 'always liberal,' right? Hahaha. That just says a lot. Fact- many more Americans and NATO forces died fighting to free folks from tyranny in Afghanistan last month than in any month since first engaging the Taliban. You like that Obama record? MANY more civilians, too, are dying. As a percentage, Taliban's responsible for more, about 76% of around 1200, but the rest, by NATO, many more than during Bush!

  • @TruthDroveCove

Lame! It is so pathetic that you would blame the so-called liberal media for the deadly and dangerous mistakes NATO has made in the past several years in Afghanistan. No amount of media bias can hide the fact that when President Bush was in office, NATO strafed innocent Afghans at their wedding parties at an alarming rate. It is only now with President Obama in office that those cases of wedding bombings in Afghanistan have been eliminated.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 Hey, lazy, try reading what I wrote. Nowhere did I blame liberal media for military (human) mistakes. I simply pointed out the fact the your 'always reliable' Associated Press (LOL) is unapologetically liberal-leaning. Ask them yourself! Hahaha. You took human error of bombing wedding attendees to generalize. Sick. AGAIN, thickhead, there are MORE deaths all around, of civilians AND troops under Obama, whether you accept it or not because of your clear apparent bias.

  • @TruthDroveCove

The CONSERVATIVE Wall Street Journal even acknowledged the full Obama quote, however, gives a much different tone than what the above video shows. “We’ve got to get the job done there and that requires us to have enough troops so that we’re not just air-raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous pressure over there,” Obama said.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 What don't you get about the very insensitive statement? Warfare can ALWAYS, whoever's leading can be MORE PERFECT (less collateral damage). This debate originates from Obama's unwise remarks on the troops, bottom line. And, bottom line, Americans don't like them. Obama, you, and rest like you take anomalous incidents and use them to paint a broad stroke of how troops "just airraid and kill civilians." Plain disgusting.

  • @TruthDroveCove

" In the most obscene chapter in recent American history is the conduct of the Kosovo conflict when the president of the United States refused to prepare for ground operations, refused to have air power used effectively because he wanted them flying — he had them flying at 15,000 feet where they killed innocent civilians because they were dropping bombs from such — in high altitude." Those were Senator Mccain's words. Was McCain "smearing" the troops as well, son?

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 First, i'm not your "son"! Who the hell you think you are calling me that?! That in itself reveals plenty about the lousy kind of person you are, arrogant! To address your comparison, i don't know the authenticity of your quote. Next, CONTEXT is key. if it's behind closed doors where they're understandably continually trying to wage a war that will have least negative impact on civilians-one thing. But if was like Obama, political, in front of media, ALWAYS a disgrace!

  • @TruthDroveCove

Type in the words "McCain Kosovo". The fourth video down from the top shows Senator McCain at a debate hosted by CNN in 2000. He explicitly said in public that NATO aircraft killed civilians because of President Clinton's reliance on air power during the Kosovo conflict. I guess Senator McCain is a disgrace.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 Wouldn't be the first time McCain's behaved disgracefully. What? Did you REALLY expect me to defend McCain's behavior? Unlike you, I can see things objectively and not be hampered by personal biases and ideology- counterproductive and destructive, like your painting all of NATO's airraids as that on wedding parties! Really?! You leave no doubt about questions on your own credibility making such outlandish statements. They're laced with pure ideology and hate. Fail!

  • @TruthDroveCove

I must say I am quite impressed with your criticism of Senator McCain. That shows a great deal of character and good sense on your part. I just want to say in my defense that I never hated on President Bush. I think he did the best he could under difficult circumstances and I respect his tenacity. However, I still believe his military policy in Afghanistan was reckless. President Obama put more troops there to prevent NATO needlessly slaughtering Afghans at wedding parties.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 Whatev. i don't state what i see, as objectively as possible, to 'impress.' reckless? you're still quick to criticize bush. u really think bush thought twice about adding troops in afghanistan as conditions called for? you forget who was adamantly against troop surge/success in iraq?! (obama) it took obama, stalling 4 political reasons, ~6 months to send troops to afghanistan after generals' request & sent only ~half that requested, troops and civilians dying in meantime!

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 Moreover, you STILL refuse to concede MANY more deaths-civilian AND military-under obama. Higher rate of civilian deaths by insurgents, because the insurgents continue to be frustrated and desperate with the success u.s. n nato r having. Tragic civilian deaths continue to occur due to gun battle crossfires and such at HIGHER number! Not only has Obama NOT decreased civilian deaths, he's dramatically INCREASED troops' casualties!! How do you like THEM #s?! Bias much?!

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 And you STILL insist on your generalization of troops "needlessly slaughtering Afghans at wedding parties" PLURAL "parties" PLURAL, as if there were numerous 'parties'! when there was just ONE tragic incident of it. This example of your deceipt/misleading is PRECISELY why your kind is not only NOT TRUSTED, but frankly DESPISED. Your praise on my 'character' means ZERO to me, for you've shown NO indication that you possess any noticible character or integrity. U DISGUST!

  • @TruthDroveCove

NATO has machine-gunned many Afghan wedding parties. That is a fact. The Afghan government had repeatedly complained about NATO killing Afghan civilians. President Bush disregarded those complaints completely and continued to order NATO troops to let fly with their ammunition regardless of the situation on the ground in Afghanistan.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 NOT facts, LIAR! Again you expose your dark, rotting core. Troops not machine-gunning down civilians, liar! Civilians have been tragically impacted by bombs intended for concentrations of insurgents. Why would civilians ALLOW these large concentrations of insurgents to dwell in their communities??!! And there's only ONE documented incident of bombing that impacted people leaving a wedding. ONE! PROVE the rest in your accusation, LIAR! NOW, Obama kills MORE civilians!

  • @TruthDroveCove

I'm done arguing with you. If you want to continue to believe that President Bush and Vice-President Cheney dropped only garlands of flowers on Afghan civilians at their wedding parties, go right ahead. That's your right. Most people however would acknowledge that what was being dropped were bombs.

  • Of course you're done arguing! You cannot support your lies with facts! You wrote again "wedding parties," PLURAL, yet you cannot cite more than the one example! LIAR! You're lying kind will ALWAYS be exposed and held to account. Your sort are just unfortunate dirty inconveniences in the continued pursuit of truth and justice. Ugh. I'm truly disgusted by the nastiness of your kind each time I have to deal with you, but it's for the greater good, so. May you one day see the light, liar...

  • @TruthDroveCove

President Obama got the job done in Afghanistan by taking care of Osama Bin Laden without the need to strafe Afghan villages like President Bush did.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 Still have lots to learn don't you, Jessica? Try to understand, it was members/leaders in the U.S. MILITARY that got the job done- ones that have dedicated their lives- for decades- in defense of America and, for that matter, the world. Guess you'd have to have been there to understand. As a veteran, I do. What'd Obama do? He said, simply, ummm "ok", like when the same Seals team, one based and trained in my hometown, btw, took out the Somali pirates holding American...

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 ...hostage. The special forces teams have the plans and the wherewithall. All Obama had to do, and I'll at least give him credit for this, is say "Ummm, okay/yes", to the plan laid before him. But, seriously, what's the incentive to saying "NO"? Hahaha. So, Obama just happened to be right place at right time, so-to-speak. He, himself, only gets credit for not saying "No", which is simply not saying much. Lol. I mean, really?! U.S. military deserves all the credit...

  • @TruthDroveCove

Of course the U.S. Military deserves credit for its successful operation taking down pirates and terrorists alike. But under President Obama, American troops were careful not to obliterate Afghan and Somali villages in their attempts to take care of insurgents and criminals. President Bush seemed to almost enjoy mowing down Afghan villagers at their wedding parties on a disturbingly regular basis!

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 Do you not care that you make yourself out to be a fool everytime you spew out lies??!! Fact- not only were there more Afghan civilian casualties under Obama, but MUCH more military casualties under Obama! Do you really think that ground wars are safer for everyone?! You have such a waste of time; such a NUMBSKULL, but it's my duty to set the record straight. Would there have bee fewer deaths if U.S. had not dropped bombs on Japan?! Hell no! More troops would have...

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 ....perished in a ground war with Kamikaze Japanese troops. At least admit that you're totally biased against Bush. You have nothing but hate for the man. Is it because he's a white Christian from Texas? You say "Bush seemed to almost enjoy mowing down Afghan villagers at their wedding parties on a disturbingly regular basis!" -Totally hateful statement that is not at all factual. You know that! You CAN'T name more than one wedding affected. How many times is...

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 "regular basis"? A veteran even here responded to another of your BS comments saying while he was in Afghanistan, he could recall only one air assault, and said that they were extremely difficult to get approval for! Moreover, I guess all the DRONE bombings and attacks under Obama are no big deal, though. You have no problem with those, right? Why not? Because he's a black democrat? Can you not be OBJECTIVE at all? Or are you just rotten corrupt to the core? - a waste

  • @TruthDroveCove

Drones have taken out NUMEROUS numbers of terrorists and insurgents. Not one wedding party has been bombed in Afghanistan since President Obama took over the reigns of power in 2009. Thank God for that!

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 As expected, you ignore the empirical evidence showing higher casualties during Obama of both civilians AND military, "wedding party" or not. You're so stuck on that, pathetically, as if civilians deaths in one context are more valuable than civilian deaths in a different context! But I get it, you have no real argument to stand on. I've beaten your nonsensical rantings at every turn. Go on. Please continue you biased babbling. It helps my cause to show how DENSE u r.

  • @TruthDroveCove

As I said earlier, Obama nabbed Osama. Something Bush failed to do. And he didn't have to bombard villages to do it.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 How pathetic. You a parrot? I can simply repeat what I've already said, too, in response to you repeating what you already said! Haha. Obama watched, from afar, the U.S. military eliminate Osama. Obama simply gave the go ahead of what U.S. intelligence and military had already been laying out. As if it was SUCH a difficult call to say "Yes" to taking out Osama?! Please explain how Obama's a 'hero' in it? Haha. And FACTS don't lie. AGAIN, more DEATHS under Obama!

  • @TruthDroveCove

You may criticize my comments, but you still haven't proven to me that President Obama was incorrect in criticizing President Bush's military strategy in Afghanistan.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 I've provided plenty of support for my point(s). All you gotta do is look back to my earlier initial comments. Try not to be too lazy. As much as you try to, I won't be wasting my life having be so repetitive for you. Try moving on from your denial stage. Life would be a much lovelier thing for you...

  • @TruthDroveCove

I am not in denial. It has not even been denied by NATO spokesmen that NATO planes had killed civilians in Afghanistan. President Obama was merely stating a widely acknowledged fact (that American jets were air-raiding villages in Afghanistan).

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 Your denial is in that you suppose there are no colateral civilian deaths under Obama via drones and ground forces. And MORE than under Bush. You can't deny TRUTH, as biased as you like to be...

  • @TruthDroveCove

As I told you before, Al-Qaeda and Taliban militants are killing most of the civilians in Afghanistan now. Not NATO troops. When President Bush was in charge, NATO was killing civilians in Afghanistan at a faster rate than the insurgents were. This is FACT and it is UNDENIABLE!

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 You are dead wrong, unsurprisingly. Since beginning of U.S./NATO's presence in Afghanistan, insurgents have been cause of most civilian deaths, year after year. So, your claiming "When President Bush was in charge, NATO was killing civilians in Afghanistan at a faster rate than the insurgents were" is a flat-out falsehood, or, simply, a LIE. All one has to do is refer to official sources, e.g., NATO. Civilian deaths are HIGHER under Obama, overall: FACT, and NO way...

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 ...to spin it any other way. Obama presidency equals many more Afghani civilian casualties, any which way you look at it. Again, simply reference the cumulative sources of those trying to keep count, to include NATO. Oh, and homes are not being bombed by NATO under Obama?! WRONG AGAIN, LIAR! CBS Evening News, even, just did an expose of Afghani women and children perishing by bomb. You FAIL, FAIL, FAIL! Try spending more time researching before yakking and yakking and..

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 ...and LYING!! Try not to be a LIAR, liar. OKAY?! Thanks, liar....

  • @TruthDroveCove

As I said, the Associated Press did a report on civilian casualties in Afghanistan in 2007. It found in its analysis that NATO bombs and missiles were killing Afghan civilians at a faster rate than the insurgents were. Ever since then President Obama took over, civilian deaths at the hands of NATO have dropped dramatically while insurgents have upped their kill rate. So Obama was right!

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 "..in ITS analysis"?! You're kidding, right?! You'd like for it to be ok that just the ONE source, the Associated Press, according to YOU, said so, huh?! Haha. Are you the only one on the planet that doesn't KNOW that the AP is unapologetically LIBERALLY-BIASED?! Oh, but that's right- works out well for your similarly BIASED stance, don't it? Any other reliable source backs data I presented: MUCH MORE CIVILIAN DEATHS UNDER OBAMA: INDISPUTABLE FACT, liar. bye, liar...

  • @TruthDroveCove

AP is a very reliable and respected news organization and is very well-regarded throughout the world. Their report on civilian casualties in Afghanistan was meticulous and detailed. No NATO spokesperson can deny that too many civilians were killed by NATO under President Bush.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 Sooo?? No NATO spokesperson or ANYONE, for that matter, can deny that too many civilians were killed by NATO under Obama, too! AP's so-called "meticulous and detailed" report did not match those of the sources on the ground, which all said insurgents ALWAYS killed more civilians than collateral damage. See NATO and other official sources. No matter how often you repeat it, you're wrong. Now, anyone can check NATO numbers to show how YOU AND AP ARE WRONG, every time...

  • @TruthDroveCove

Look up Nedra Pickler, Associated Press and civilian casualties in Afghanistan. You will find that NATO was indeed killing civilians at a faster rate than insurgents in Afghanistan in 2007 (when President Obama made his comments).

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 If you see nothing wrong with a U.S. presidential candidate saying U.S. troops are "just", again, "just" airraiding and killing civilians, that's YOUR issue. It clearly show's your obvious bias. Edward Morrissey's rebuttal, "The AP's 'Fact' Check", in Captain's Quarters quite easily and pointedly proves your precious, beloved, and worshipped Nedra Picker and Associated Press wrong, biased and absurd, deservingly so. The stinkin' biased are just that- stinkin' disgusting.

  • @TruthDroveCove

I have absolutely no problem with a U.S. Presidential candidate being candid and frank about the military errors that his country has made. NATO was just hitting civilians with their airstrikes, and not enough U.S. boots were on the ground to make sure that civilians weren't harmed. Thankfully President Obama has corrected the grievous errors of the previous administration in Afghanistan.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 That's all you needed to say from the beginning. You didn't need to try justifying yourself. Because there is no justification in the world to support saying American troops were "JUST" airraiding and killing civilians. Again, simply, NOTHING one can say that that statement shows statesmanship and leadership. It was freaking repulsive and degrading to the U.S. military. Especially coming from those- him, Obama, and you, I'm sure- who haven't spent an hour in military.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 And of course you're going to, because you're clearly so disgustingly liberal-biased, continue to ignore the raw numbers- that there have been both MORE Arghan civilian deaths AND MORE NATO and American military deaths under Obama's tenure. Keep showing your true colors. Pure hate's all you got- which is purely what's the cancer of humankind. How's it feel to be part of the cancer of human civilization-- you who dodge the truth, have double standard, and fabricate lies??

  • @TruthDroveCove

So what was NATO doing besides JUST air-raiding villages and killing civilians under President Bush? Nothing comes to mind...

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 Nothing comes to (your) mind because your mind's not open to TRUTH. Try reading/looking at sources other than your (laughably) "always reliable" Associated Press and other liberal mediums. I was actually PART of the mission with Bush as president. I was in Air Force intelligence. Intelligence was being gathered 24/7, protecting troops on the ground, YES, there were already troops on the ground!, just not the "Surge", and protecting pilots in the air. Try finding TRUTH!

  • @TruthDroveCove

The intelligence effort under President Bush was obviously sorely lacking. Things worked out better under President Obama (he got Bin Laden) without the need to kill so many civilians.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 You have no clue about the U.S. intelligence community, so you can shut up real quick about that. You have no idea how much danger the intelligence community has and continues to keep Americans AND the rest of the world out of. Just like anything involving human beings, there are imperfections. But the vast majority only focus on those imperfections and take for granted all the countless times, including getting Osama, that intel has prevailed. YOU'RE "sorely lacking"!

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 And no matter how many times you repeat yourself, the fact REMAINS, there has been a higher rate of civilian deaths in Afghanistan during Obama administration than under Bush's tenure via the copied-from-Bush troop SURGE in Afghanistan and Bush-intiated Drone program in Afghanistan, which I KNOW, because I was a PART of it's launching LONG before the lame "Hope" and "Change" chants even began. Unlike you, FACTS don't lie. Go ahead, keep trying to twist the truth, liar.

  • @TruthDroveCove

I have stated many times to you that most of the civilian casualties in Afghanistan are due to the action of insurgents, not because of NATO air-strikes. When President Bush was in charge, NATO was responsible for more civilian deaths in Afghanistan than the militants were. And the drone program has eliminated scores of terrorists since President Obama took over in 2009. Unfortunately, Bush's air-strikes merely devastated Afghan wedding parties.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 Clearly, you don't care about the truth, liar. First of all, you keep saying "wedding parties", as in PLURAL, but you CANNOT cite more than one incident of it, liar. And no matter how many times you "state" it, the fact remains, there's been, annually, BOTH more deaths by insurgents AND NATO since Obama, via troop surge AND drones. Are you so THICK that you think, somehow, drone activity causes NO collateral damage?! Moreover, there've been more TROOP deaths, too, liar!

  • @TruthDroveCove

Surely you don't blame President Obama for al-Qaeda and Taliban attacks against civilians in Afghanistan?! There is no way for Obama to prevent insurgent depravity. He can only control the actions of his own troops...And he has done so. Far better than President Bush ever did.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 You continue to show your disgusting bias and dishonesty. Instead of just lazily spewing hate and lies, do your research. There was ONLY ONE air strike that impacted an Afghan wedding during Bush, though you continue to lie that there's more than one, saying there was PLURAL. Since Obama, TWO++ YEARS, there have been more troop fatalities, 65%+ of total, in Afghanistan than ALL EIGHT years during Bush. Finally, there's NO question that MANY more Afghani civilians...

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 ...have been dying, annually, since Obama. Whether by aggravating the insurgents to kill more Afghan civilians, increased ground troop combat, or, ironically, stepped up air raids via DRONES! ALL the casualty numbers are UP: Afghan civilian deaths by insurgents AND Afghan deaths by NATO, no matter HOW you try to twist the truth! And even more, MORE U.S. TROOP DEATHS IN TWO YEARS SINCE OBAMA THAN ALL EIGHT YEARS OF BUSH. ALL AROUND, LIIIIAAAARRR, MORE DEATHS SINCE OBAMA!!

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 YOU'VE LOST THE ARGUMENT AT EVERY TURN, LIAR! YOU FAIL!! HEY, TRY PROVING THERE WAS MORE THAN ONE WEDDING PARTY AFFECTED BY AN AIR-STRIKE, LIAR. HEY, LIAR, GO AHEAD! PROVE WHAT YOU KEEP SAYING: "BUSH'S AIR-STRIKES MERELY DEVASTATED AFGHAN WEDDING PARTIES"!!!! "PARTIES", PLURAL! "PARTIES", PLURAL! GO AHEAD, LIAR! PROVE IT! PROVE IT! CITE MORE THAN ONE INCIDENT, LIAR! CITE IT, LIAR! PROVE IT, LIAR! CITE IT, LIAR! PROVE IT, LIAR! YOU ARE SCUM! PROVE IT, LIARRR!!

  • @TruthDroveCove

Absolute nonsense. NATO bombed several wedding parties in 2008 alone. Slaughtering civilians by the dozen. President Obama has stopped American strafing of Afghan villages and thus America's reputation as a force for good in the world has been restored.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 Hey, YOU! Can't you read?! I wrote, "PROVE IT!" PROVE IT! PROVE THERE WERE MORE THAN JUST THE ONE, EMPIRICALLY. CITE THEM ALL! YOU'RE THE "EXPERT", RIGHT?! How is, then, simply CITING all these so-called "Wedding Parties", PLURAL, so difficult for you? IT'S BECAUSE YOU CAN'T, LIAR! THE MORE THAN ONE DON'T EXIST, LIAR! YOU FAIL! And, hey, liar! You can keep running, BUT CAN'T HIDE FROM THE FACT THAT MORE DEATHS, OVERALL, SINCE OBAMA! DEATHS! STINKIN' LIAR, YOU..

  • @TruthDroveCove

I can't post links up on YouTube to demonstrate the number of air raids President Bush authorized on Afghan villages and wedding parties. But rest assured, I am not lying. NATO killed civilian rates at a higher rate than the insurgents did when Bush was in the White House. President Obama dealt swiftly with Osama bin Laden and his associates without the need to massacre civilians from the air.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 Ohh.. Of course. Hahaha. THERE's your PREDICTABLE excuse. Hey, liar: I'm not asking for "links"! Simply name ALL these so-called "wedding parties", PLURAL, that were bombed. Yeah. You're saying "wedding parties", PLURAL. So simply NAME them. You're HIDING behind: "I can't put all the links here" crap is not proof, LIAR! PROVE it! You can't, liar. Admit it. You ARE a liar and are despicable: "Bush's airstrikes merely devastated wedding parties." PROVE IT, LIAR!

  • @TruthDroveCove

President Obama scores a huge victory in Libya. Military targets were taken care of by NATO air power. Civilian casualties at the result of American air strikes were limited and reduced. This stands in stark contrast to President Bush's military policy of strafing villages in Afghanistan between 2001 and 2009, which resulted in scores of Afghan civilian deaths!

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 The president has no control over how the actual military operations are carried out. That's up to the air force. Obama doesn't tell the pilots what to do, neither does Bush.

  • @Onion836 So....you're saying Obama DIDN'T actually "get" Osama? He sures sounds like it was all him, when all he did was wait 8 hours, and then say, "Ok, go"

The president (legally or not) puts the troops in whatever war-zone that they're in, so he does have control over what is targeted to a large extent. To completely give him a pass is laughable and wrong.

  • @JoeBrenn Obama didn't do shit to get Osama. The hard workers in JSOC and Navy SEALSs got him. Obama just sat back and took credit, like the scumbag politician he is. Barack doesn't coordinate air strikes or military operations, he tells the military what he wants and other people do the work. Giving him CREDIT is laughable and wrong. It's also sick to credit him rather than the people who worked and risked their lives. He went against the constitution to conduct operations in Libya.

  • @shizzel65 Aw, cute. Nice hit 'n run. How 'bout you come up with more objective, reliable source in this matter than U.S.-led NATO officials who are closest to what's happening on the ground, huh?

  • @TruthDroveCove because if their statistics show their killing more people then they look bad and i trust my government to be objective in its reporting on its own failings, on a scale of 1 to 10, with a solid 0.

  • @shizzel65 I see you dodged the question. I'm not surprised. You still haven't answered what source would be more correct than the organization, NATO, a GROUP of nations, who are the folks actually on the ground in Afghanistan, including countries other than the U.S. AP is more reliable in providing numbers of deaths?! Who do you think they get their numbers from? Haha. Oh, yeah and AP is NOT liberal-biased, right?! Haha. Spare me. You simply cannot support your baseless remark...

  • @TruthDroveCove how is their biased because bad numbers would directly effect them, dodging the question? besides i haven't watched any American based news sources since they all were microphones for bush in the run up to the Iraq war. now i get all my news from aljazeera English ( and i live in Virginia if you wanted to know).

  • @shizzel65 Any number of civilian deaths in any war is bad enough. NATO, a group of nations, not just the U.S., is documenting best they can all deaths. And in no year has deaths by NATO forces been more than those by the insurgents in Afghanistan. No source has better info than NATO. Not AP. Not Aljazeera. But I see you'd rather hate on those trying to free people from tyrants and terrorists than the tyrants and terrorists, themselves. Keep watching Aljazeera and stay ill-informed.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 it is very obvious you have no idea what role NATO is playing in Afghanistan, so I suggest you go there and see it for yourself. I assure you that youre own Canadian troops would be very upset at you saying they were under the Command of George Bush. Its rare to see such utter disregard and hatred for the military though. Id be pretty ashamed if I were you.

  • @usmcgunner58

As I told the utterly hapless and clueless "TruthDroveCove" earlier, the Bush administration's military policy in Afghanistan pretty much consisted of NATO air raiding villages and killing civilians. The well-respected Associated Press noted that NATO was killing civilians in Afghanistan at a faster rate than insurgents were under Bush. Thankfully President Obama opposes NATO mowing down Afghan civilians at their wedding parties. Canada never bombed villages. Americans did.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 I see. Well I spent a year in Afghanistan, and Im heading back shortly. It always amuses me to have people, who've never been within 8000 miles of Afghanistan, try and tell ME whats really going on there. If it wasn't hilarious id be pretty insulted. I guess youre in the habit of speaking to others about things you know nothing about. I assure you, getting airstrikes approved when I was there, 2006, was near impossible. I only saw it once in a year there

  • @usmcgunner58

Hey, don't let Jessica fool you into thinking that all Canadians hate NATO troops in Afghanistan. You have lots of support north of the border as well! I wish you all the best on your second deployment to Afghanistan!

  • @AlbertChengTO I generally get more positive support from Canadians than I do Americans. I use to take my summer vacations to your country when I was a kid and I loved it. I really hope to retire to Canada someday

  • @usmcgunner58

Great. Canada is a great place to live. Working is different because I think Canada has a much higher taxes compared with the United States. But Canada is a really wonderful country. Canadians have been deeply involved in Afghanistan. More than most Canadians would have hoped. But I think many Canadians are very proud of the contribution Canada has made in Afghanistan.

  • @AlbertChengTO well you guys should be proud of your men over there. I worked with the Canadian Army when I was there and they were outstanding. A true group of professional warriors. Canada should be very proud of them

  • @usmcgunner58

I believe all Canadians are proud of their troops, regardless of their views on the Afghan mission.

  • @usmcgunner58

You Marines could learn a thing or two about the cultural sensitivities of foreign nations from Canada's example. Firing missiles at unsuspecting Afghan wedding parties is not acceptable and not helpful to the cause of peace in Afghanistan!

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 you cant be that stupid right? Words cannot describe how much pity I have for people like you. Im sorry you dont have a clue whats going on in Afghanistan, but I can assure you that we DO NOT in any way fire on civilians intentionally. I just came back from there after another tour and I can assure you I didn't kill one civilian, taliban fighters is another story all together though. Please educate yourself and stop denying you have a problem and seek psychiatric help

  • @usmcgunner58

I am fully educated and understand exactly what went wrong in Afghanistan during the Bush years. Obama wants to protect civilians while fighting terrorists in Afghanistan. Bush was disturbingly unconcerned about the collateral damage the USAF was inflicting on civilians in Afghanistan. End of story.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 I served two tours under bush in Afghanistan and now two under Obama. You want to know what the difference is? Not a damn thing. Strategy is the same, and we're winning. The arrogance of people like you amazes me. Never stepped foot in Afghanistan and you feel confident in contradicting a veteran who's spent over three years there. You're disgusting.

  • @usmcgunner58

You may criticize my comments, but you still haven't proven to me that President Obama was incorrect in criticizing President Bush's military strategy in Afghanistan.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 ok fine, please go find me one documented case where American military aircraft "air raided" an Afghan village. Of course I'm sure you'll need to go look up what air raiding means.....I spent 3 years in that country, taken part in over 300 military operations there, and never once have I seen or even heard of our aircraft air raiding a village and killing civilians with no regard. You're incorrect for criticizing something you don't understand. Again, utterly disgusting

  • @usmcgunner58

An airstrike in Azizabad, the Deh Bala wedding party bombing, and the Wech Baghtu wedding party attack were all examples of NATO brutality in Afghanistan. There is no denying it. Innocents were slaughtered by American aircraft in Afghanistan.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 right, so I see your comprehension of the english language is really lacking. Might I suggest college? INTENTIONALLY: on purpose, this case meaning we bombed them with the knowledge that they were innocent civilians and our attack was DIRECTED intentionally on them, which HAS NEVER HAPPENED. I've lost more friends than you've ever had because we weren't granted an airstrike because we were within 500 yds. of a shack that might have a few goats in it, let alone a person.

  • @usmcgunner58 Us TROOPS NEVER KILLED CIVILIANS IN A AIR RAID. WHAT HE FUCK ARE YOU SMOKING ASSHOLE. THE US HAS SLAUGHTER MANY MORE CIVILIANS THEN AL QUIDA.

  • @pranil8 thank you for taking the time to comprehend english. My contention is we've never done it intentionally, and thats a fact. Until you've even stepped foot in Afghanistan you're in no position to dispute me either.

  • @pranil8 I see. You know this how? How many years have you spent there? What province's have you been to? How many civilians have you talked to? I'll wait for those answers. Second, define for me the word, "air raid" ok? Awesome. Third, just to clarify, air raid and airstrike are two TOTALLY different things, in case you didn't know.

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 again, you bringing this attack on memorial day is beyond reprehenasable and its utterly disgusting. Have you no shame? What a true patriot you must be. You wipe your ass with the American flag dont you? I had a great laugh today thinking about trying to defend yourself against the Taliban, people who BEHEAD children for taking candy from us, God only knows what they'd do to you. No but you could defend yourself......without our help......

  • @JessicaMcKinnon1981 wow youre an idiot. President Bush had COMMAND over NATO TROOPS AND PLANES????? What planet do you live on? If you know NOTHING about how the military works, you really shouldn't be opening your mouth and making yourself look VERY stupid.

  • @TruthDroveCove " fm a country whose very existence is thanks to the U.S. rescuing in 20th century" sorry mate but always referring to ww2 and stating" we save the world " which you think justify anything you done afterward don't work as excuse. This is now and only people that don;t know anything about the world would say something like civilians have a choice . What choice? please tell me were they can go as no country will accept millions of refugees.

  • @GonnerTrue Your words: "the truth its yanks don't care of civilian human lives and would probably kill more of the world was not looking." That's just pure hate. Hating, plain and simple, and historically unprovable. That's why I bring up historical FACT that U.S., indeed, has saved millions from certain oppression and calamity. You just can't accept it- your own personal problem. There are regions Afghanis can go to in their own country that are U.S. and Nato secured. Get fact, not hate.

  • @TruthDroveCove first of all you have answered my question and historicall unproven? It has been documented shown what the Americans did and they were not much better then those they were fighting. Why do you think your own people was so oppose to it? There are no hate mate and no jealousy as i live in U ,America is a wonderful country and i have no hate for it but you mate that can't see past your " America fuck yeah" attitude and come with "choice" again what choice?

  • @GonnerTrue I'll quote your own words again, snake: "the truth its yanks don't care of civilian human lives and would probably kill more of the world was not looking." All of a sudden, you say "America is a wonderful country"! Which is it, schyzo?! You taking back your hateful America-hating statement?! How can you when you additionally say, "Americans...were not much better then those (murdering terrorists) they were fighting" ? Hey, scumbag, keep your ignorant hate. You're exposed! Trash

  • @TruthDroveCove first of all its Schizo and for someone accusing someone else of hate you are pretty hateful guy. ok i was referring to the military and politics rather then country as a whole so chill before you get heart attack son. Sorry but you still have not answered my question but if you feel calling me names proves your point then i see no point talking to you. PS: have you been outside of America as you sir are bloody entertainment and i bet you own a truck and live in texas. lol

  • @GonnerTrue yeah, schizo (like i'm taking time to spellcheck my posts, mr. condescension, what a joke), the vast majority of americans wholeheartedly support troops and how they honorably conduct their missions. This debate originates from Obama's unwise remarks on the troops, bottom line. And, bottom line, Americans don't like them. Obama, you, and rest like you take anomalous incidents and use them to paint a broad stroke of how troops "just airraid and kill civilians." Plain disgusting...

  • @GonnerTrue What question? The one i've already clearly responded to? Concerned Afghanis CAN go to nearest NATO secured territories, of which, there are a growing number throughout the country. Do you not have common sense? Would you risk keeping you and your family in area where insurgents are KNOWN to be frequenting/using as base/hiding out/originating offenses from?!?! Also, r you SO naive that you think ALL civilians r innocent/not sympathetic to Taliban's cause/America haters like U?!

  • @GonnerTrue oh and military and political leaders and polls and all ARE America, snake. you're trying to walk back your america-bashing hateful statements now. Not buying it, scum-bag. I'm not baselessly hating. I'm using appropriate terms that describe your words of pure bigoted hate towards the U.S. Face it, Americans KNOW others are so jealous of America's prosperity and dominance. So u like Obama cowtowing around to appease. Pathetic. He doesn't represent true Americans. "F*CK YA!"

  • @TruthDroveCove obama is just undercover bush and we know it but thought he was elected? Let me get this straight you have a leader which americans don't like and don't represent true America then what are you doing in iraq and Afghanistan thenand what happened to bringing democracy to those places? My god you are either very confused or you just very stupid, either way you are embarrassing mate.

  • @GonnerTrue you clearly haven't been following the american democratic process, and I don't expect you, being fm UK, to do so. But your projecting yourself as someone that even remotely understands the nuances of MY government is, again, typically arrogant, condescending, and just plain loony, you schizo snake. Remember, we all already now know how much you seethe hate for the U.S., you bigot. Obama campaigned on false pretenses and the largely liberal media gladly obliged. Folks now r c'ing

  • @GonnerTrue If you cannot wrap your head around the concept of a person getting elected but quickly revealing he/she is not what he/she portrayed him/herself to be, so quickly changing voters' perceptions, they YOU schizo, are the dumb*ss. You're really a waste and definitely already the embarassment- trying to take back your bigoted America-hating comments like America would kill more civilians if noone was looking! You're a disgrace, snake. What a joke! Degenerate: keep showing ur idiocy!

  • @TruthDroveCove lol why are you keep saying snake like it means something? they are lovely animals. I will not bother with your anymore you waste of life as you probably never ever stepped outside USA and probably no fuck all about the world, I might as well talk to a wall, why would i be jealous? STILL NOT ANSWERED MY QUESTION. admit it you sir no fuck all and note i do not think you know what schizophrenia is so please stop writing or at least look it up. What do you have against snakes?

  • @GonnerTrue your question was what choice do Afghan civilians have. I've clearly, for all to see, answered. So you can stop claiming I didn't, schizo. Everyone sees you're wrong, like everyone sees your hate speech towards America. That's TWO fails!! More of your FAILS?: You would like snakes: cold-blooded, sneaky, slithering, lying Lucifers like the serpent in the garden. Another of your fail: I traveled the world growing up, Air Force for 10 yrs, and majored in Asian Studies. U=FAILURE

  • I WISH SONMEONE WOULD AIRRAID HIM. i said it. whine libs, whine!!!

  • lol MRclitman fredom of speech doesnt go that far.... nice .. well i dont know ya but peace buddy

  • OBAMA SUCKS ASS EVERYTHING HE SAYS IS B.S.

the teleprompter prez who was probably not even born here

    RON PAUL 2012!

  • Frag this dirtbag and all the politicians pushing war. Drown all extended family.

  • In 21st century doublethink more troops in Afghanistan means less dead, I guess those villages the predator drones are bombing in Somalia and Pakistan need more troops too so that we don't "have" to blow them all up with our Microsoft XBox controllers.

  • so obama can know what its like for the iraqis we should get some troops to rape and kill his daughters and wife and see if he still wants to support our troops

  • @nathenism what the fuck is your psychopathic problem? How can you wish the death of somebody? as bad as Obama is you cant wish his death, you must be a Republican killer. Republicans don't have moral aurhority to hate Obama

  • anyone who believes that us troops in iraq and afghanistan are defending his homeland is a fool, a complete idiot

the pb is that some of the soldiers really think they r defending the us (by occupying a sovereign country, killing its innocent population and terrorizing its children even by the mere sight of their weapons in crowded markets)

the us invasion brought terrorists blowing themselves to iraqi markets but most Americans think Tiger Woods mistresses make a more important topic

  • Obama said so much stuff that McCain could have used to hang him. Too bad McCain was a fucking idiot. I look at it this way. We could have a terrible republican in McCain or we could have a terrible democrat in Obama. Obama leads the way to a republican comeback. McCain leads the way to a democrat powerhouse. It takes a Carter to get a Reagan. Obama just highlights how bad democrats really are.

  • Hey obama i dare you to tell that to the U.S Marine Corps personally Hoora !

  • eurotrash106 are you aware that insurgents are the cause of most mid-east civilian casualties/deaths not U.S. Soldiers. An honor you could never comprehend or be worthy of! This war was brought about by islamic religious leaders who teach allah's want of killing & hatred of all who do not believe in him. What kind of god teaches this? A jealous, selfish & frightened god! The # of mid-east civilian deaths will never equal all the innocent lives taken on 9/11-no matter the actual count! Punk!

  • what a tool

  • @euro106 this war is an asysmeterical war. Meaning that the battle is 360. Everyone is assumed to be the enemy until proven that they aren't. So if you have never been in this type of combat then don't pass judgement on those who have. And also don't believe everything you read on-line until you have read into their credibility. Because guilible is written on the top of your celling.

  • the thing is i lived through war, i know war than you will ever know. i lived in a war as a civilian and as an combatant. you dont have to teach me anything about war because your only lying to yourself. fact is americans are murdering civilians not by accident but on purpose. dont ask me how i know this, just ask yourself why most american soldiers enlist in the military.

  • @euro106 oh really? I enlisted into the Army to serve my country! I didn't sign up to kill innocent civilians! And American Soldiers just don't kill civilians on purpose. If only its by pure accident. Hell I saw two dead Iraqi children that I later learned where killed as they where playing at a water canal, and you know who killed them? Al Qadea in Iraq! Yeah that's right! Surpise surpise! And let me guess your an enemy combatant?

  • its pointless talking to you and the rest of americans that have been brainwashed by the zionist regime. let me guess they told you u will be going into iraq to free people?lol 2 reasons why usa is in iraq, one is to eliminate israels enemy, and two oil. why do you think israel is trying to get america to bomb iran? more fake wmd's.

you wouldnt want me to be your enemy. you american soldiers dont have heart, you hide under tables when u get shot at. mujahedeen with ak's are wooping you

  • @euro106 argeed its pointless to talk to an ignorant foolish guilible person such as yourself. And I've never been "brainwashed". I''ve been trained "violence by action" to kill or be killed. And to never harm a civilian. Apparently you don't know about the ROE's, or Rules of Engagement, that are established to save civilians on the battlefield. And in Iraq we did save people. We saved them from the horrible Saddam Hussein regime that killed thousands of innocent civilians i.e. the Kurds...

  • @euro106...now we should've finished Saddam in 1991. But oh well. And Iran possibly has WMD's. They want weapons grade uranium. Which Russia will give to them. And if Israel wants to bomb Iran, well then I'm sure that they can do it. Plus mostly everybody in the Middle East hates Israel. Espeically Iran who said that they want Israel to be wipped off the face of the Earth...hmmm...yeah. That's self-defense. Oh and I don't know of any Soldiers that hide under tables when they recieve hostile fire

  • @euro106...its not the American Soldiers that are loosing the war to Haji's with AK47's. Its the inexperienced politicans (i.e. Obama) who make the horrible policies that make us, the Soldier, fight with two hands tied behind our backs! So then we are unable to fight the way that common sense states. And I'm not scared of you! I don't reallly care about you. Because I'm not a "scared Soldier who hides under tables"...I hope you enjoy being a liberal brainwashed igronrat fool...

  • @euro106 oh and I'm guessing your European right? Well the next time your country needs being saved from an opressive tryant then you'll be praying for the Americans to come and save your ass!

  • @Ron11B10 we shouldnt be there in the first place... nevermind "360 enemies". fucking retard. brainwashed twat.
