  • Just a note, though on a different car, my 1998 Altima has very similar sway bar links (with the 4 pink dots) and they could sustain an aftermarket Eiback sway bar.

Keep an eye on them, and if they bend, get the TL links that was originally with the Acura.

Thanks for the vid, after a horrendous sting with a 2003 Altima (engine after engine) I am now riding an 09 EX 2.4 manual :)

  • @MLWATKK Correction, they COULD NOT sustain :-/

  • Lmao to your response to that jerk

  • excellent vid

  • sorry missing words, upgrade rear too. love it tight in turns... I like your accord, I agree with the way you mod it, simple and very efficient. some ppl just too stupid extreme in mod their car

  • try to upgrade front sway and upgrade sway to. love it... I drive civic non si swap with si sway and eibach swaybar stiffer setting.. ordered front swaybar from magauto. thanks man

  • @s61927

That is a very nice, constructive contribution. You'll go far in life with such a powerful grasp of grammar and positive outlook on everything.

  • do you really think that we need to upgrade front sway too to make neutral balance.

  • @jacobhendry

Depends on which model you have. The V6 has a decent front strut bar.

  • how long the sway bar arrived from magauto

  • @jacobhendry

It was pretty quick. Probably 4-6 days after ordering.

  • Good jod on the video!

  • It'll work on the 4 cyl models. You can check out magauto or bernardiparts for the parts.

Install shouldn't cost more than 1 hour of labor.

  • I wonder if this would work on inline 4 cylinder models?

Any places/sources on where to order for a 2.4L 08 coupe?

I wonder if having a dealer or mechanic do it be too expensive(if not into the whole DIY thing)

  • Is my new 2011 Accord SE Sedan still an 8th Gen??

  • @rasro

The 2011 is a 8.5 gen, but the frame and suspension parts are exactly the same.

  • @ManClubAustin - Cool, thanks. What are my other options? Someone told me the RSX rear sway fits also. Is this one better? How do you like the ride? One last question, Are there bigger ones, like 19mm or 21mm? Thanks again!!

  • @rasro

As far as I know, the 09+ Acura TSX rear sway bar is the only one that fits (since it has the same frame as the Accord). I don't think the RSX will fit.

There are 19MM and 22MM RSBs. Check out a performance vendor such as throwdownperformance. I'd recommend the 17MM Acura bar for moderate enhancement on a daily driver. If you plan on beefing up the rest of your suspension, you might move up to 19MM/22MM - just remember, bigger isn't necessarily always better...just ask the ladies.

  • 17mm

    mines 38mm

wuts with these tiny sway bars!?

  • @kreigsmann

I bet you tell that to all the ladies. Probably doesn't work on them, either.

  • @ManClubAustin maybe in europe!

  • Will these parts fit on a 2008 V-6 Sedan? I am wondering if these are just for the coupe or not. Does anyone know?

  • @Mikebike125

Yeah, it fits all 8th gen coupes. The V6 sedan/coupe have the same 15mm stock sway bar.

  • hey dude did u notice any diffrence in the bar

  • @volcomstone54

Subtle difference, but a tighter rear end when taking faster turns. But I drive my car more like a daily driver than a race car. It's what you'd expect for $70...

  • Nice video. Thanks. You should probably wear closed toe shoes, long pants, and gloves next time though....hahahaha.....anybody know where to get a Front Strut Tower Bar for the 08-10 Accord? Can't seem to find one

  • thank you so much.

    ery informative. @@

  • gj man thnkx for the vid.

i got one favor to ask

could u make a vid on how to install a takeda cold air intake for ur car.

if u could, that would be really nice.

  • need to normalize the audio

  • Nice job on the DIY!

  • I'm not a noob =\.

Did you remove your decklid spoiler? Or am I just not noticing it?

  • My Accord didn't come with a spoiler installed. I believe that's an add on from the dealer or aftermarket.

  • Ahh never really realized that. I just thought they were stock on the v6's.

  • As it turns out, rear lip spoilers are stock on the V6. Damn Baytown Honda! Those bastards swapped trunks with another car.

  • Hi

I just wondering if there is 20mm available ?

Do you have part number ?

    Thanks

  • I think there are 19MM and 22MM aftermarket options available. As far as I know, 17MM is the largest OEM solution. It's also the least expensive.
