@sasktank Yeah, but the built-in compass doesn't start working until the unit thinks it's standing still. Which it never thinks it does. I've tried calibrating the compass numerous times, to no avail.
All you need to do to fix the problem is recalibrate your compass. Check the manual or just google it for directions. Also, you could call Delorme customer service, it's supposed to be awesome.
@hoyshnin I recalibrated the compass--several times. The device still wanders. The electronic compass doesn't seem to work even when calibrated, so I filled out a contact form for DeLorme tech support.
