I belong to Women on Missions. We have a monthly outreach project and it is so rewarding! This month we are ministering to foster parents and foster children with a luncheon and game day.

Oooooh thats awesome! When I did this video, I debated - should I post it or not. I didn't want to boast about my volunteer work but I wanted to give others the idea that they can help no matter how small it is. We need to work with each other and for those to can't do it for themselves. We volunteer to clean the local shelter and we spend a lot time volunteering at the Humane Society and animal rescue too. Its such a blessing!

we (in the Netherlands) do this with Xmas and give money to the churches or institutions that helps out people in need, five stars my friend!

We do it at Christmas too and we use to buy presents for children but now we focus more on feeding them, and making sure they have a warm place to sleep.

I have been working on making warm blankets to give to those on the streets. Its not much but its made with love and hopefully keep someone warm.

Thank you Doug! Yes we had a great Thanksgiving, just my hubby and myself and a quiet dinner.

Now we are thinking of what we can do for Christmas. We spend our Christmas the same way as Thanksgiving. Its a time for us to celebrate the birth of Jesus and reflect on our blessings.
