This song is not easy to sing at all yet is my favorite.

No offence to all fans, but this is my honest opinion; it does sound like he started off from the wrong note,and some 15% of the time he doesn't hit the notes that he pulls out in the recorded version.

It just ain't very smooth in comparison.

I'm just not impressed by the live version of this particular song, it does seem that it was also the sound techs guy fault the background music was way lower than it should have been.

@o0katyuwka I'm agree with you, it seems that in a big part of the song he is out of tune, but I still love his power of interpretation, don't you think??? He takes you to another world with his beautiful and amazing voice!

Wow- this is one of the only few people that sound good live. He barely sounds any different from the video. And one of the few japanese singers that can speak english that know.

Lol this song makes me laugh, but I just LOVE his voice XD! He's got that great screaming voice but at the same time he can still hit a bravado, and his voice is so deep and he can take it high w/ such ease. Definitely one of my favorite voices. His english is pretty good too.

This is a beautiful song. It's well composed, especially the lyrics. It's so poetic. His singing mirrors the lyrics. Like he goes into a minorish sound when he sings the words "down" "dark" "shadow" etc. and you can hear and feel the desperation and sadness. you can hear the disorientation from the sound of his voice and through each question. It's lovely. great musician

I can't really make fun of his voice because, it must be hard for someone whose used to speaking Japanese, to go off and sing in English without sounding different. And vice versa. This is one of my favorite songs and Hyde is one of my favorite singers.

Kagen no Tsuki was pretty good.. but Moon Child was DEFINITELY better. Kagen no Tsuki I wouldn't watch over and over again. Moon Child.. I've had it for 2 weeks and I've watched it 42 times. Brilliant movie, that.

i was told Moon Child was a vampire movie so i have misgivings about it (Hyde was great, i fell in love with him in that movie). Kagen no Tsuki is really sad and this song suits it so well. i could watch Kagen no Tsuki more than Moon Child.

That's true. xD Kagen no Tsuki is definitely fitting more of the romantic tragedy genre. I can see why it could be enjoyed more, but for me, I enjoyed Moon Child quite a bit. =) I need to watch both of them again, though. In fact, I might do that today.
