GOD DAMN THIS WHOLE "old AiC vs. new AiC" debate is so fucking stale!!! All these whiney morons going "Whaa they are disrespecting Layne....Duvall sucks....they should have changed the name"....as if they knew Layne better than Cantrell. They didn't do this while Layne's body was still warm. They grieved and now they are moving on. Jerry gives Layne respect every chance he gets. Interviews, I've heard him do it, I've read it, & BGW2B is about him. What's the fucking problem?!?

Duvall is doing a great job--all you haters fuck off already. Cantrell wrote all the music anyway--AND sang harmonies with Layne as well--be glad the band is back with a great album. the crowd sure seems to dig it. It's not as if they can dig Layne up and prop him back onstage--would much happen? They have survived tragedy and loss and chosen to move ON. Let this stand as a testament to the fact that HEROIN is NOT COOL...it fucking KILLS.

hey! we have the real mike starr and his hypocrisy! please think again about it... layne died!!! he DIEEEEED!! alice in chains isnt layne, but jerry cantrell. whats wrong with you? dont you think jerry is (and was) the true leader of aic? layne was just a singer (duvall has another voice, but he isnt trying to imitate layne's voice at all) and jerry is (and was) the main composer an the guitar, and dont remember that he sings as well

Agreed bro, Duvall is also an accomplished guitarist and it really shows in their live show. I love Layne, but hes gone...it sucks. But AIC is only getting started. If anyone hasn't seen them live and are solely basing their opinions on bad youtube quality then they need to stfu. Long Live AIC
