Why not? The delaware dems nominate idiots and they keep getting elected. Look from the top down. Might as well do whatever it takes to get some kind of change because the current direction just keeps putting this state further and further behind.

Would you happen to even live in delaware? You are dead on with Tom Carper, he is a heck of a legislator and person to boot. However the rest of the party is not much to brag about. That starts with Joe Biden, includes our "wonderful" governor and works its way all the way down to the crooks(literally) who keep getting elected to county council. In delaware you need not be a sensible canidadte to win, just a democrat. Delaware politics does not have much to offer. Especially on the dem side.
