Stupid HP placing f*cked up graphic cards in our pc's. Mine does exactly the same, I however am not going to pay 400 euro's to repair that. I'll be buying a brand new NON HP computer
I have had the same computer for two years and I have had my motherboard replaced twice in the last year (at my own expense mind you, out of warranty) and had to send it in again this summer for another problem. I've also had to replace the power cord at least five times, and had to replace the keyboard this summer as well. A total piece of crap.
listen to me. Nothing you do will help, virtually everyone who has a DV9500 is getting problems with video because its the graphic card by Nvidia. Google HP dv 9500 problems and you will see it for your self. My girl had one and after 10 month she had problems. She cried a lot and then after spend all that money she had to buy a new one a Dell and that because HP isn't helping anyone with this problem. Like I said just search the web and see blogs for your self. DON'T BUY HP.
@seanadupre This is right on the money. The dv9500 has major issues. There is a fix in that if u overheat the gpu the grfx will work again.Only a short term though as the problem just re-occurs. Wish I had known when I bought one. Damn you Hp.

You were right. It did today. Now I get a bluescreen everytime I turn it on. Tried to format it, but didn't help. I'm going to sell it.
