  • I used 100% pure extra virgin olive oil on my hair and I drenched it all over my head concentrating on the scalp and ends, and left it for 30 min while I was just soaking in my bath, and I had to wash my hair twice with my colour treated shampoo and then a clarifying shampoo to get all of the oil out. Did you ever have that problem with your hair?

I really hated that :( What shampoos did you use?

  • Hi, Im a girl who has been through japanese hair straightening along with coloring my hair 3 times. 1st time was highlights and I got it done at a hair salon and the 2nd and 3rd time I colored my hair by myself. I dont eat very healthy nor drink healthy and I know that that is also what causes my dry frizzy hair. When I pull one strand of hair out and I run my finger down that strand, it sounds squeaky clean. Does that mean my hair needs moisture? Will coconut oil help ?

  • @Ashley25Crystal It can be that your hair is really squicky clean or it might mean it is very dry or maybe your hair is just very thick. Coconut oil will help but don't expect coconut oil to provide your hair with the moisture that you need right away. You can use organic Coconut oil as a treatment but also apply some kind of oil to your hair as serum that will help moisturize your hair right away. You can use Jojoba oil mix with rosemary. There's also argan oil and amla.

  • @Ashley25Crystal I love mixing my oils and applying it as a hair serum. If you've used natural oils before just go ahead and mix two or three oils you like the most and use it as a hair serum for instead shine and moisture.

  • How much of this oil do you have to put in your hair?

  • @Nest1089 Well, if I am oiling my hair i soak my hair with it leave it for a a few hours or leave it over night. Sometimes I also apply a litlte and use it as a hair serum.

  • the coconut oil i got has petrolatum, cocos nucifera (coconut oil), fragrance is that good or no?

  • @sherissethompson I don't like using hair products wit ingredients that are known for clogging your follicles. I would consider petrolatum as a clogging ingredient and right now I'm trying to grow my hair very long so this ingredient might slow down the hair growth process. If you conitnue using it just make sure you use a clarifying shampoo once in a while to remove the buildup.

  • @LeniGirly i wasnt too sure to put it in my hair so i use it for my skin and it makes my skin really soft

  • Where can i get this organic hair oil?

  • Hi, 1st off i really appreciate u sharing ur videos:) ty and also i have a question? have u heard of msm?? it claims 2 b good 4 hair growth n overall health, so many positive results , but then there was this neg comment saying that it made some1 have imsomnia n nightmares, that got me scared. if u could find out 4 me and let me know i would love that! thankssss again

  • How long does the 8oz bottle last you? Because it's expensive and I don't want to buy an 8oz bottle if it's only going to last a couple conditionings. :)

  • Based on your reviews I just purchased several products from Tropical Traditions. I hope to experience the same success :)

  • By washing the oil out the next day, has the oil already penetrated through the scalp? I just ordered some of the Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut oil b/c your video is convincing. I've been using the NOW brand of Coconut oil which I like.

  • NM scrap that last post!! lol

  • Ive looked EVERYWHERE trying to find the hair oils your showing and I cant find it even when I go on the site.

  • @heavenwithin81 buy online from iherb.com! Use code KOY923 for $5.00 off your first purchase! :)

  • did it make ur hair thicker? or just longer.. thanks:)

  • I love coconut oil and you've convinced me to get them by tropical traditions. You recommend the coconut hair oils that comes in 3 forms rather than the gold label hair treatment?

  • thanks 4 ur responding!! I really apprecciated; now I have another question, where can i get these 3 products?? the oil, the shampoo, and the "Follicle stimulator" btw, is this last one the name of the brand? k lol, hope 2 hear from u soon again! :))

  • @jkale86 You're welcome! The oils are from the website Tropical Traditions. I included the link for this oil under the information bar in this video. I bought the Mill Creek Biotin shampoo at the Vitamin shop but you can also buy it from Amazon. Finally, the Follicle stimulator is from the website Healthy Hair plus. If you checkout my blog at lenigirly.blogspot.com you'll be able to see when and how i used these products. I also have some photos of these products.

  • firs of all, i love ur video!!

I have a question??? im 24 years old and i have hair loss, which oil would be best 4 me to use, rosemary or lavender??? Hope to hear from u soon, I need help, urgently!!!

  • @jkale86 Ooh thank you!!! If you have hair loss you should use the Lavender oil. My sister also has very thin hair and she looses a lot of hair. I got her to use the Lavender and she loves it. Also, try using the "Mill Creek Biotin" Shampoo and conditioner in order to promote more and thicker hair growth. Also, try the "Follicle Stimulator" from healthy hair plus.

  • thanks for making this video. i ordered 2 bottles of the rosemary coconut oil today. it's only $9.99 until the 19th if you're interested! i didn't see myself buying it at the $28 price :) btw I teach too!

  • @Eclecticldy Thank you so much for letting me know girly. As soon as I saw your comment I went to their website and ordered two bottles. I found the code 61113 online which allows you to get free shipping with them. Thanks once again you're the best! : ) What grade do you teach? If you don't mind me asking.

  • @LeniGirly lol you're so welcome! My 2 bottles will be here tomorrow and I can't wait. I am a gifted ed. teacher so I teach all elementary grades. What about you?

  • @Eclecticldy I just received my two bottles. Woo hoo! I just started using some other stuff on my hair in order to promote hair growth. I will be doing a video about it soon. I do early childhood ed so I only teach the little ones.

  • This is one of the best reviews on the YT on coconut oil! Fabulous job!

  • @ReniiNaturalistaDiva Aww thank you. I really appreciate your sweet comment. I'm glad that my viewers can notice my love and obsession for hair oiling and these tropical tradtion oils especially the rosemary oil is my all time favorite.

  • I like coconut hair & pie

    winning

  • Cute neckless!

  • @coolgirlee Thanks! : ) It's from Forever21

  • Hi! Just wanted to say that tropical traditions has a special going on that ends today!!! Its a buy one get one free of gold label coconut oil! I placed my order today! Cant waut to try!

  • @punkhoplove Thank you so much for letting me know. I'm sure you're going to love it as much as I do. I've noticed my hair has grown a lot ever since I've been using coconut oil on my hair. I wish I would've known about coconut oil sooner.

  • I want to start using coconut oil on my hair because I've heard alot about how good it is for your hair. I'm undecided on which one of the three to start with. But anyways, amazing video like always.

  • thank you so much for the reply! i ordered the oils the rosemary and the unscented one but i shouldve ordered all 3 =[ i cant wait to try them out!!

  • @unorthodox12 You're welcome! You're going to love these oils. I love them even more than Vatika. I'm going to use the Rosemary one at least once a week for hair growth and the unscented one as a hair serum for shine. I don't even have to sleep with it i just leave it on for a few hours and it leaves my hair so healthy looking. Let me know if you love them as much as I do.

    Xoxo

  • @angelina290191 I prefer unrefined coconut oil. Refined coconut oil is known for losing some of its nutrients because of the way it is processed and the whole point of using coconut oil on your hair is for protein. So, using refined would be pointless. Also, refined coconut doesn't smell like anything and it takes longer to melt.I wouldn't use refined on my hair.If you want better results I would stick to the unrefined plus it smells like coconut and it melts right away with your own heat.

  • ✾◕ ‿ ◕✾

  • @vampireAM Aww I love that cute lil face. *^_^* right back at ya! lol

  • wow you've got sch nice hair! Please post more about hair oiling

  • @oiledhairfetish Oh thank you!! I am obsessed with hair oiling so I definitely will be posting more videos. Thanks for stopping by.. : )

  • great vid! very informative! .. do you know of any alcohol free shampoo's? or what shampoo do you use? i envy your hair ! lol

  • @unorthodox12 Thank you! I'm glad you found this video to be informative. I use a lot of sulfate free shampoos but it's hard coming across hair products with no alcohol so I can't think of any right now. If i find out of any I will let you know. The shampoo and conditioner I am using right now is Agadir Argan oil Daily Moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. This product is Sulfate free. So, far I like it. Any ways, thanks for your support.

  • Very detailed and informative review video. All your videos turn out so good and with good music. You're my favorite guru on youtube cause although you're beautiful you are not stuck up or a show off like other gurus on youtube.

  • I like the video....makes me want to have beautiful hair and take a trip to jamaica.

  • You look so pretty. I like the lipstick you're wearing. Somehow you always look so classy and girly. I love your videos and really good review. I've been using rosemary oil on my hair for a while now. It helps my hair grow faster than usual so I'm going to have to checkout the rosemary oil.

  • I tried the gold label coconut oil after seeing your video and I love it. I want to try these oils. Which one from the three would you recommend?

  • @daisies1884 I love these three oils but if I had to pick one for myself I would pick the Rosemary one. I did some research on all of these ingredients and Rosemary is known for promoting hair growth and so does coconut oil. Therefore, I think these two ingredients together are really good.

  • great video thanks

  • @29jaz You're very welcome! Thank you for watching!!

  • I'm so going to buy these oils. I buy every single hair product you recommend. I take your advice when it comes to hair products because you have gorgeous healthy hair. Thank you once again for such an amazing video.

  • @kardashian25 Oh thank you! You're so sweet. If you liked the Gold label coconut oil I'm sure you'll love these oils. Let me know how it goes once you try them.

  • Beautiful girl, love your mouth when you talk ;)

  • @XpresloX Aww thanks. : )
