  • Sri Chakra Raja Simhasaneshwari song has a very deep meaning. In this song, the composer has indicated the steps a devotee takes to find divinity within him / her and surrender to God. Please visit abideinthetruth.blogspotdotcom/2010/04/shri-chakraraja-simhasaneshwari.html for the meaning. NOTE: In the above URL link, please replace the word 'dot' that appears after the word 'blogspot' and before the word 'com' with the period character.

  • about the gopis?

  • Its about the Divine Mother, Sri Lalitha Tripura Sundari. The theme Sri Chakra Raja Simmaseneshwari means "The Supreme Mother" who sits atop the throne of Sri Chakra. Sri Chakra is a "yantra" meaning instrument in sanskrit which symbolizes the three worlds which are the heavens, the earth n the underworld.

  • i would love it translated, it must be about krishna :) i heare hari a lot

  • @krish108

  • excellent song. superb voice.

  • i am young and i luv this song. it's quite prejudiced to say that younger generations don't appreciate these kind of songs.

  • I agree completely. since I was a baby, my amma would put on cds of maharajpururam santhanam and ramani- never too young to listen to music! and the younger generation is definitely appreciative!

  • Music makes us to forget all our problems. It takes us to God and it melts our heart, makes tears flow out of our eyes. These kind of songs should be taken to forthcoming generations.

  • Here wiht my knowledge, what I say is , if both go to higer notes it doesn't sound good, so shanmuga goes silent at higher notes, and esp her voice has sweetness and innocence which elivates teh devotinal feeling , you got to listen pahi jagaj janani of them to understand this

  • @kamakotisankara

i agree with you . . i like both of them but i like shanmukh priya more . . her voice has some kind of innocence . . and her face looks sooo calm . . not that i don't like hari priya . .

  • gbalasu.

god bless the sisters for the wonderful harmony.very well they synchronize and perfect singing...

  • Very sweet and honey

  • beautiful!

  • I hope it is sree lalithambikaye ...they are pronouncing as sree lalithambike ...but I don't know this is also fine or not..

  • Yes it is fine. lalithambike is in Samskrutam, and lalithambikaye in Tamil.

  • awesome!! one of my fav songs. very good synchronization...between them I think the short haired priya is better...she has a better tone and can be heard well. is the short hair priya Haripriya?> Someone please clarify..tired of searching on google.

  • Yes she is Hari Priya the younger one the elder one is Shanmukha priya , OMG the elder one tone is sooo innocent and pure filled with devotion ... listen der other songs .... they both are equally good and the most best part is the sync b/w the sisters ....

  • Perfect or if one would prefer, excellent comment. Let us thank the Lord and bless the sisters for the wonderful harmony (79yr old Shrinivas)

  • giftedvoice.....excellent.......

  • classic..........

  • I have heard this sung by maharajpuram Santhanam. He was absolutely great. The verve of his singing is missing here.

  • Totally agree with you. His version is the best.

  • will listen to his version. my favorite version so far is bombay sisters'. The not so favorite so far is sudha raghunathan's. I love her voice no offence but she drags the songs a bit too much.

  • HIs version is definitely the best.

  • absolutely...yes his version is great..rendition is amazing

  • I absolutely love Mahrajpuram Santhanam- he is my favorite singer. He sang this song beautifully- you are right. I have a cd of him singing it which i have listened to about a hundred times. But I believe the priya sisters sang is BEAUTIFULLY too (: I just love this song!
