Jesus! what a horrible racket !! Grow up and learn to play something before wasting money on expensive equipment. I know that old Ac-10 Vox amps can sound beautiful, maybe this model also does , but with your abuse we will never know.
Love it. Single coils, thick strings, heavy attack that's what guitar is all about. Btw I play all the same stuff and the same way as you including Circles.. but on strats. Cheers
@pedrosobota Amen brotha, you have seen the light. I like strats, but I've only played one that sounded as good as my teles, and it was a john english masterbuilt for $6k. I still think about that guitar to this day.
@NHBluesMan It's just like any other vox. Some pedals sound killer, some don't. If you're used to an ac30, then those same pedals sound amazing through this amp.
@vanillasr08 Thanks man. it has a killer tone. I do prefer my VOX AC15H1TVL a bit more for that tone, but the morgan sure rocks. The VOX is less nasal.
@ZachDRUMMOND You mean you have a vintage vox ac10? I haven't compared them, but the circuit is identical. the regular 10PM is a different circuit than this one. Joe Morgan (owner of morgan amplification) will build you whatever you want.
@byusnowboarder I think he meant he has a AC15H1TVL and how does it compare with your Morgan. I was going to ask the same question as I have the AC15H1TVL. Do you have a general preference or do you like one amp better for certain things? Thanks and great playing!
You used fender alnico blue speakers for the amp? I have an AC20 and i want to put in alnico blue speakers, but from what i remember, the fender alnico blues are cheaper than the celestion alnico blues.
Also, is the signal just from your guitar? No pedals?
@byusnowboarder if I could have any speaker for these, It'd probably be a mix of a 10" scumnico and a 10" celestion gold. But that's $500 in speakers alone.
I'll bet it does. I love how lightweight and portable it is. I may throw a single 12" alnico blue in there. I'm not 100% sure it'll fit yet, but I think I can make it fit. Thanks, I love that guitar, it's my baby. i love your vids, thanks for posting so many of them.
@danlandyvette I can't remember but you can check morganamps(dot)com

@byusnowboarder I have that Vox. How do you think the two amps compare? Also, do they make a 12'' combo 10pm?

Yes, these are fender alnico blues. They're a ton cheaper than the celestions, but I like them all the same.
This is just the guitar plugged straight into the amp. Zero pedals.
